Ok, so I finally ditched the old SLStats + SLTimex in favor of the new modules today and are having the following issues:

- Font doesn't stay after I log out + back in, for what its worth I'm using the SharedMediaLibrary from WoWAce + the font: "BigNoodleTitiling-Oblique"

This is the error: \AddOns\SLCore\Libs\SLModule-1.0\SLModule-1.0.lua:71: <unnamed>:SetText(): Font not set

- Nextly, the SLMemoryAnchor doesn't seem to be applying itself so whenever I link up the latency anchor to it, SLMemoryAnchor drops it and the latency meter flys off the screen >_<

This is the error: \AddOns\SLCore\Libs\SLModule-1.0\SLModule-1.0.lua:86: <unnamed>:SetPoint(): Couldn't find region named 'SLMemoryAnchor'

For the font, how is it registered? Through a MyMedia file or from another AddOn?

I'll check the anchor problem for SLMemory...thanks for the heads up

>_> Due to my immense failure which is my life I'm simply removing whatever you saw in this post and telling you:

SML registers the font, it's not located within the MyMedia.lua file- it comes with SML when you download it.

Thanks for the prompt response

I have the problem, that sl_latency, sl_framerate and sl_memory only show up after logging in, when i check and uncheck the "locked" feature in sl_core

Ah, ok. Hmmm...I'll have to peek at this when I get home. I'll check with both the old SharedMedia and the SharedMedia 2.0. I'll let you know once I've had a chance to test it. It might not be saving the font name into the variable properly.

I totally missed what you edited...so I didn't see it :P Darn!

Are those modules all you have installed, and no other modules? I'll test this and see if I can reproduce.

Make sure you try clearing the SL saved variables for all modules as well (including beta and old versions).

Well, I'm using sl_clock, too, but for strange reasons this always stays on. But I'll try it with purging my WTF files...

Edit: Ok, I think, I found out, what is causing this: It has nothing to do directly with the lock/unlock function: I set all these modules to a very high update interval. They do their first "write cycle" after this time has run out. I think it would be quite good, if all the modules would alway update at startup.

(sorry for my crappy english ^^)

Hmm, they "should" update at startup, and the scheduled event is the only thing immediately effected by the interval option. I could be wrong though...I've done a lot of tinkering the last few days slimming the actual modules down, and might've made a booboo. I'll see if I can fix this right up.

Ok, I fixed the problem with anchoring (which is sort of tied into the other problem that damocles74 was having). I accidently removed the loading process when players log in, so while it was updating the text information, it wasn't actually calling a full update. Anchoring now works as it should without error upon reloading or logging in with modified options.

I'm not having any luck at all replicating the problem with the font. I've tried both SharedMedia's (1.0 and 2.0) with no success...

Had no idea SM 2.0 was out, upgraded to it and it resolved the issue... I'm assuming SLCore 1.00a is the most recent revision ( though the date still reads as 12/29 for the upload and the internal TOC reads as 1.01)? If so, I did upgrade to it but receive the same errors as before- but oddly enough am able to retain the font just not the anchoring on the latency when attaching to the memory module.

Bet you're loving this eh? :P

The change to fix the anchoring hasn't been uploaded yet, and those will be the modules only (no change needed for the core). I'll have those uploaded today

Location, Mail, and ServerTime haven't been released for the new Core. The Core Description states it will not work with the Beta modules.

I just released SLMail this morning, and the others will follow. If you're using the Beta modules still, don't update SLCore until all the modules you use have been updated.

There seems to be a problem with the new modular design pertaining to parenting modules to one another. If you say, for instance parent SLClock to SLLatency, when you next log on you will receive an error because the modules load alphabetically, sometimes this causes no discernible problem but oftentimes it causes a module to fail to load altogether because the module it is anchored to has not yet been loaded.
