    This page is best viewed using the WoWI "default" or "dark" theme. Apologies for any inconvenience.


    These require Tidy Plates and Additional Special Text to funtion!

    Features:
    • Custom scaling for mobs, elites, bosses, totems, pets, and special nameplates introduced. ~ New! v1.8
    • Additional text options have been made available for 100% HP text. ~ New! v1.7a
    • Specific Totem toggles are now available. ( On request ) ~ New! v1.7
    • Boss Encounter options introduced. ( Yogg +0 request ) ~ New! v1.7
    • New Multi-plate style system allowing the toggling of pet nameplates for pvp or pve usage. ~ New! v1.6
    • Spell Cast Text now included!! (Requires Tidy Plates Special Text 3 ~ Included in v1.5) ~ New! v1.5
    • Flametongue Totem Icon Fixed!! ~ New! v1.4
    • Now Includes more custom settings and saved variables!! ~ New! v1.4
    • Faction Champion Class and Totem Icons!! ~ New! v1.4
    • Now Includes Totem Icons!! ~ New! v1.3
    • Now with Class Icons and HP Special Truncated Text! (Millions and Thousands Conversion Text) ~ New! v1.2a

    v2.0 is currently in progress...

    Some changes:
    • Text will now be able to be changed in font, and size.
    • EVERYTHING will have an alpha setting.
    • New Threat Reactive nameplates!(PvE - Autodisabled in arena)
    • Disable all pets option: (PvP will include mirror images, only available in arena)
    • New Icecrown boss special nameplates for Lady Deathwhisper(PVE)
    • Saved Variables renamed and reorganized. (More just for better tracking for myself and future additions)
    • Other stuff I haven't thought about! (Suggestions? Some things may not be doable, but feel free to reply!)

    I've just uploaded Tidy Plates v5.8, which has an in-game theme chooser. If CleanPlates doesn't appear, try opening up the Addons Options menu, and look for the Tidy Plates category; You'll find a simple drop-down menu, with all the currently available themes.

    Tidy Plates doesn't change the size of the mouseover field. The default size is about 150 x 38, which will remain constant even during nameplate art scaling. The hitbox can only be changed out-of-combat, since it's a Blizzard secure frame, which makes things goofy when you've got several different sizes. This is an issue that affects all nameplate mods.

    There is no way to name the nameplates inactive; The active part of a nameplate is a secure frame, which locks down pretty much any kind of change that we can make. In fact, they don't even behave like a usual unit frame, where we can get/set attributes.

    I really don't see how them being click able is useful anyway its actually redundant. You can just as easily click the mob itself as the nameplate and the nameplates have strange, sudden and sometimes erratic movements that are not even tied to the mobs movement anyway.

    So, this is a temporary solution for ruRU locale, use transliteration of russian names for totems.

    Going to make some work to shift these block to locale-files anyway, so with translated strings we can make addon compatible with all locales.

    Yea I just kinda went shorthand for english, pointing totem names to english texture files.

    v2.0 will be much more friendly.

    change the color of the friendly nameplates
    Is there any way to change the blue color of the friendly nameplates to something else? Its abit confusing in arena when you have an enemy shaman with the same nameplate color as your mates...

    Not currently. Tidy Plates may be adding more options for arena partners / opponents in the future.

    You can just turn off friendly nameplates? Unless you're needing them?

    You'll have to ask the addon author for a change of color. To add an extra "border" for enemy nameplates would require additional coding not really needed.
