Custom channels are used to for friends who are in the same server but different guilds to communicate, and a lot of other stuff.

The idea is to create an "Fu" for Fubar that scan those channels and show the names of the players on them (/chatlist) on a nice menu like FriendsFu and GuildFu do. That way, you can easily track people on those channels, invite, whisper and etc...

Multiple channel support with an option to show all merged on the tooltip or separated by channel name would be nice.

No problems really but I hate to keep on seeing the 'out of date'
I do have a question tho. One that is asked before. Could you plz add the zone and maybe level to the names? Now I have to do a '/who' to see where the ppl in the channels are.

ooh, thats just a toc update, i guess i could update that.

the problem with getting the peoples zone/level is that theres no way to get that information without doing a /who. i believe theres a limit on how fast you can use the /who command too.

the chat commands dont return any information like your friends or guild list, just their name ;[

I use Chatmanager, which allows me to switch my channel numbers around...and I think I must've done that with my custom channel. It sits normally on #6...but ChatListFu reports it as being on channel #7. Not a big deal, doesn't affect functionality, but I thought I'd make you aware of the issue.
