Sain UI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 1.1
by: Santur [More]

A simple, very lightweight, UI based on Blizzard’s default UI.

SainUI is an attempt at making Blizzard’s default UI a cleaner, more functional experience. Everything is built using Blizzards existing frames, and therefore it’s extremely lightweight with both memory and processor power (~30kb of memory, and virtually no extra CPU power). The UI works with any resolution and UI scale. No setup needed.

The addon is divided into 3 parts. Each work without the other if you’re only interested in parts of the UI.

SainUI
The general layout of the UI.

- Clean actionbars. A total of 4 actionbars available at the bottom of the screen.
- Cleaner, square minimap. Zoom in and out using the mousewheel.
- Bag bar hidden unless you mouse over it. Positioned in the bottom right corner.
- Micro menu hidden unless you mouse over it. Positioned under the minimap.
- Chat menus are hidden unless you mouse over them.

SainUI: Unit Frames
Modifies the default unit frames.

- Darker, square frame.
- Smaller portrait.
- Larger health bar.
- Names are class colored.

SainUI: Raid Frames
Modifies the default raid frames.

- Names are class colored.
- Dark grey health bars.
- Background is bright red. Better contrast for lost health.
- Players out of range will appear as transparent dark red. Much easier to spot.
- Larger buffs and debuffs on small frames. Debuffs positioned at the top right of the frame.
Note: The new health bar and background color will not be active if you have class colored healthbars activated in interface options.

Configuration
There is no SainUI-specific configuration in-game. Since it’s all based on the default UI, Blizzard’s interface options will effect SainUI just as it would normally. If you are not scared to poke around a bit with the code, there are several simple configurations placed at the top of the LUA documents, e.g. moving the unitframes.

Installation
Unzip in your "World of Warcraft/Interface" folder, not the AddOns folder! If you are unsure of where to place the different folders, take a look at the 4th image uploaded with this addon.

To do
- Fix pet frames on party and arena frames.
- Correct a few display bugs with the vehicle frames.

1.1
- Simplified textures.
- Added party frames.
- Added arena frames.
- Faster target of target class colored name update.
- Focus target of target's name is now class colored.

1.0
- Release.

Very nice addon! Replaces squeenix and bartender for what I am using them for.

You might want to mention that most of the file size is textures, people seem to get scared of 'big' addons on wowinterface.

A good work around for now probably would be to use an addon that allows you to move everything like "MoveAnything" or "Leatrix Frames". Just until it's available here.

^ This. I have my own custom UI, but I do like the UF's. Please post a separate addon for just these.

So you finally uploaded your UI. So much more advanced than my own default UI scripts. <3 Love it!

I have some questions about customisation. Posted them in AJ interface forum, hope you'll shed some light on it.
