The codemerge with the original addon is done now.
The new version 3.03e contains all my changes, and can be found here: here at wowace.

Hi,

this addon started as an updated version of JebusMail from jebus905.

The old version from the forum did no longer work with WotLK, so I posted a modified version here, working with WotLK. I also implemented some very small changes.

Now the original author is back, and the original addon can be downloaded here.
I wrote him an eMail, and I hope that we can merge our code soon.

Until this is done I will keep my fork updated here.
The latest version (1.3) is based on the original addon version 3.03d.

The following changes are active in this fork:
- Remember last X recipients
- Split large guild list into subgroups of X members

I quote the (minimally modified) description of the original addon:

I guess I should advertise what this mod does:

* Remembers last recipient and fills it in each time
* Adds a drop-down menu to the recipient box. This drops down 4 categories: Alts, Friends, Guild, Other
* Log in as each alt to get it listed in the Alts list
* Delivery notification (sound optional) for items sent to non-alts
* Right-click on a message in the summary window to collect items and money (one at a time)
* Displays total money received once the mailbox window is closed
* Options are found in the new Interface Options - AddOns window

So credit for all these things goes to jebus905.

My own addition to this list:

* Necessary changes for WotLK/patch 3.0.2
* Added the possibility to remember the last X recipients

I know that the orginal author is back.
I am trying to contact him so that we can merge the code.

Until the merge, my code will remain here so that the users can enjoy the additional functionality that I added

And 1.3 is based on 3.30d, so technically this IS the latest version

Great mod Des UPDATE: I downloaded the version off wowinterface and it works fine. For some reason the newest one on curse.com is a different version revision number scheme and I think possibly an older version. That being said, there is one option that I would like to see added to this one: auto grab items by right clicking on the item box rather than having to open the email itself. You mentioned that you don't have a lot of time to look into making changes so I'm gonna take a look at the code from other mail mods in regards to this and see if it can be added to this one! I just fixed the addon for WotLK, and added some (very small) changes. I really lack the time to take over this addon completely. So if anybody wants to make changes, feel free to take over this addon. Or send your additions to me, and I will post them here. It's not that I do not like your suggestions - I'm simply lacking the time at the moment. I will still try to keep this addon working and bugfree, since I am using it for myself all the time. cu tay

Hello, Im am also looking for a mass mailer that can choose whole guild as a group, to mass mail at one time, so you dont have to put them in one by one.
Also, for this one, parts of it is greyed out and some of the guild list is missing, guess it wont scroll down past a certain amount. I was wondering does the alt list only chose your own alts, and not able to take out guild members alts out of the guild list?

To explain: I have been for a very long time using MailTo, then MailTo Next. The only thing it does that I want any more is the drop-down recipient list. I turn off all the other many wonderful things that it does, or used to do before things got broken by various WoW patches. I even turn off the delivery notifications only because the delivery notices for alts is just more spam. Oh, wait. That doesn't work... turning off the notices doesn't work and they spam me anyway. So I will try this one today and see if it does only the few things I need it to do.

Yes, I agree.
There is a link in the addon description, that SHOULD lead to the original addon.
Unfortunately, this link broke with the recent wowace changes.
So I will rewrite the description now.
