Rekcinad UI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 11.0
by: Rekcinad [More]

REKCINAD UI

A custom interface for WoW. Usable for Tanking, dpsing and healing.

This UI uses mainly ElvUI with the Skullflower edit.

Core AddOns
  • ElvUI + Skullflower UI pack
  • BigWigs
  • Omen
  • Skada
  • WeakAuras
  • Parrot

Installation
  1. Backup your Fonts, WTF and Interface folders in the main WoW directory.
  2. Unpack the downloaded file.
  3. Copy the new Fonts, WTF and Interface folders to your WoW directory.
  4. Make sure you select the WTF folder corresponding to your resolution, and rename it to WTF.
  5. Go into WTF/Account and rename "ACCOUNTNAME" to your accountname.
  6. In "ACCOUNTNAME", rename "SERVERNAME" to your server's name.
  7. In "Servername", rename "Classname" to your character's name. You can copy this folder for every character you own and rename accordingly. As you can see there are already some class specific folders here.Take your pick from the Warrior, Rogue, Mage, Paladin, Death Knight or Priest folder instead if you are playing one of these classes.

Now that you're set up you can start up WoW and log in. Make sure Out of Date addons are enabled in the addon screen. Once you're in-game, you will have to set up some profiles.

Setting up the profiles
  • /ec -> Pick your class' profile. If your class isn't listed, pick Warrior.
  • /bw -> Default
  • /omen -> Default
Reload your UI after all this is done.

Version 2.1
- Both 1920x1080 and 1680x1050 resolutions are now supported
- Polished action bars. Various tweaks are: shadow under the main bar, tidied up the hidden action bars at the bottom.
- Replacement of the tooltip - it will no longer obstruct UI windows.
- Updates to the nameplates. Better castbar + castbar icon and a better look overall.
- Slight finetune of the two stat bars in both bottom corners.

Version 1.2
- Reduced overall memory usage through Aloft

Re

Thanks man, I pretty much have everything sorted out now except for SBF.
WHen i try to click off a buff it says that SBF has been prevented from performing an action only available to the Blizzard UI. Then when I disable SBF I can't see any of my buffs and can't figure out how to get my buffs displayed with the regular BLizz UI. I turned myself into a snowman yesterday and now I'm basically stuck as one because I can't click it off.

This is due to a change Blizzard made in the 4.0 patch that prevented you from clicking off buffs through addons. Satrina hasn't updated the addon yet to the point where you can click these off, although I do advise you to download this update. Satrina has released a beta version in which it IS possible to click off the buffs, but that version doesn't support buff filters yet (which are really vital to this UI).

For now, you can remove buff effects by typing: /cancelaura YourBuffName

Heya, totally awesome UI. Loving the OOMM UFs! Nice touch

One big thing keeping me from playing is it gets very choppy. Especially during combat. And it's not my framerate, cause I was watching it the whole time and it never dropped.

Really can't be sure what's doing it, but as much as I'd love to play, I can't.

Did you change the video settings to the level where your PC is comfortable with it?

Ooh. I will see how that works! Thanks for reminding me

[EDIT] So all settings seem to be as they would be when I play with my other UI. Will see if a certain addon is causing the problem. Which it was. All fixed.

Sorry for bothering, again, love the UI. Now that I've fixed it I can test it out for proper

Not one of yours. sFilter. Put that in cause I couldn't get OmniCC or InlineAura to show the timers/cd on the action bars. Found out it was Bartender stopping that, and have since switched to Dominos.

Weird thing is, when I revert back to ledUI, sFilter works no problems. So it must not play nice with one of the addons in your package. Which I am assuming may be Bartender. Would have to try it in ledUI to be sure.

All in all, I still love this UI!

Hey,
Im trying to install this UI, I have fully cleared and replaced my WTF+Interface folder but none of your profile settings for Pitbull nor any of the other addon's are there, I am noticing a couple of my old setting options there but whenever i select default for pitbull it just changes it to fresh install style and Bartender just defaults me back to blizz frames, on Bartender none of the pet/ warrior profiles are even available, i have changed the server/account/toon name's correctly in the WTF file but dont know what else to do, I really do like the setup of Pitbull in this UI and would love to run it if you can think of any way i am making a mess of the install?
Thanks

Have you renamed the WTF -resolution here- to just "WTF" ?

After that is should be:

WTF/Account/"Accountname"/"Servername"/"Character name".

Note; don't rename the first folder in WTF (Account).

Yeah got all the renaming etc correct, it just feels as though none of the profile settings are there, even though i am fully replacing my wtf and interface folder aswell there are some of my non standard profile settings on some of these addons, i dont know if these are overwriting and not letting me see your setups or why this is happening at all, i cant think where the previously saved settings would be lurking other than the folders that i have replaced :/

Try searching your C:\Users\Public\Documents\Blizzard Entertainment\World of Warcraft Folder. I've seen occasions where the WTF folder is being saved here. If it is, delete it entirely. Install mine in the normal place

i love your UI. i dont have the same dimensions as you so im currently trying to make it compatible with my aspect ratio. but i have a couple of quick questions.

1) what is the pink thing next to your FPS?

2) what do you use for addon management? currently i use titanpanal but with some of the addons you use most of the features overlap so i would like to remove titanpanal. but then that leaves me with no way to call them when needed.
the statblock core makes a bunch of buttons on my screen for the addons and i dont see them on yours. so idk what you use

3)what is nCore? i cant seem to find any information on it

Hey there,

1) This shows wether you are in a guild group or not.

2) All my addons are accessible by slash commands (f.ex. /pitbull) As for StatBlockCore, select the default profile and the button mess will disappear.

3) nCore changes a few class colors in the UI and takes care of some slash commands. Nothing major and you can delete it if you want to cut down on the number of addons.
