Neav UI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 9.0.4
by: Neal, ballagarba, thomasjohnshannon

Neav UI
This UI compilation will work on all resolution.

I will not help with questions
Most of the addons in this compilation is only configurable via the supplied Lua config files (config.lua), so some basic programming knowledge is highly recommended but not required. A lot of the options are basically setting the value to either true or false depending on if you want to enable or disable the feature.

AddOns include
!Beautycase
!Colorz
nBuff
nChat
nCore
nMainbar
nMinimap
nPlates (by thomasjohnshannon)
nPower
nTooltip
oUF (by Haste)
oUF_Neav
oUF_NeavRaid

Thanks to Haste, kerrang, zork, Tuller, and many more for their great AddOns. And thomasjohnshannon/Grimsbain for making Neav UI compatible with Legion.

Information
A lot of the addons have a config.lua file where you can change some settings. So look first into this file before you ask something! Some addons like nCore, oUF_Neav and oUF_NeavRaid have an in-game configuration.

How can I move the player, target, focus, boss and arena frames?
Use the /neav slash command to toggle the anchors to move the frames around.

How can I move the Pet-, Stance- or Possessbar?
Press Shift + Alt and drag with your left mouse button on the first button of the Pet-, Stance- or Possessbar to move the them.

Commands
/neavrt to move the raid frames.
/rolecheck or /rcheck to do a role check.
/ntooltip toggles the tooltip anchor.
/alertframemover toggles the "talking head" anchor.
/neavcast toggles the anchors for the castbars.
/neavbag toggles the bag bar.
/moveextraactionbar toggles the anchor for the extra action button.

I have no trouble bringing up the tracking menu by right-clicking on the Minimap. The menu you got earlier by right-clicking the clock is gone, and is pretty much located in nMainbar now.

How to always display switches on the difficulty of the dungeon on the minimap?
1. In what way doesn't it work? I haven't had much time for dungeons yet.

2. Settings instanceDifficulty to false in nMinimap/config.lua should make it display all the time.

I've actually managed to modify the inner shadow for the weapon buffs now. There's two options with different results:

1. Changing the texture from textureDebuff.tga to textureOverlay.tga like so:
nBuff/core.lua at line 191
Code:
border:SetTexture(cfg.borderBuff)
The downside of this is that the pink/purple color will become WAY darker. You could try and change to color to something else on 193 though, but it will still be dark.

2. Modify the texture itself, use some image editor and open textureDebuff.tga and remove the inner glow, you can compare with textureOverlay.tga to see how it should look.

If you haven't got Photoshop or something similar, Paint.net is a free image editor that works good.

About not showing the raid frames when entering a battleground is a little more complex, you'd have to write a script which checks for when you enter a battleground and move the frames off screen, and move them back again when you exit.

I take it you think the frames take up too much screen space when in Alterac Valley and other 40-man battlegrounds? I actually have a little script I made that automatically positions the raid frames based on if I'm currently in healer or dps/tank spec. And changes the scale for the frames when there's more than 28 people in the raid.

You can see it here

What you could do though, is either use /neavrt to move the frames off screen (bottom right corner or something), or use the mini-menu on nMainbar and press AddOns > NeavRaid and move it off screen that way (it's the same thing).

You should include that script in the module folder and let us enable it in the toc file. That's some good stuff.

Even though I did a clean install, I keep getting lua errors from nMinibar. I normally wouldn't mind getting lua error, but every time I get the error message, my computer freezes for a short period of time (like 0.5 secs).

Edit/Update: Replacing the nMinibar folder with the original one (the one from the rar file) fixes the problem. But again, after clean install I hadn't had any problem either. So time will tell whether this is a temporary fix or a permanent one.

It's been fixed already, it's just that I hadn't uploaded a new version here yet, however, as of v4.3.2 it should be fixed (just uploaded it).

How can I turn the red part of the ennemy target uf to its class color (just like when I'm targeting a friendly player) The name would have to appear in white too.
