FuBar uClock  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 2.1.6
by: Dark Imakuni [More]

FuBar uClock is my own personal re-write of FuBar ClockFu, with all the cruft removed.

Features:
- It can show realm time and/or local time on the FuBar.
- It shows today's date aswell as realm time and local time in it's tooltip.
- It toggles the in-game Time Manager (stop watch, alarm clock etc) if clicked.
- It toggles GroupCalender (if installed) or the in-game Calendar if shift-clicked.

Options can be found in the dropdown menu, accessed by right-clicking the plugin.
- Choose which time format(s) you want shown in the data feed.
- Choose whether to show seconds or not.
- Choose whether to have the time shown in 12hr or 24hr format.

For LDB fans a Broker version of uClock can be found here.

If you've found an error or would like to suggest a feature, please make a new ticket in the issues hub or leave a comment here.

Version 2.1.6
- Updated for WoW 4.3.0.

Version 2.1.5
- Updated for WoW 4.1.0.

Version 2.1.4
- Updated for WoW 4.0.6.

Version 2.1.2
- Added UTC time format support.

Version 2.1.1
- Updated for WoW 3.2.0.
- Fixed compatibility issue with GroupCalendar v5.

Version 2.1.0
- Updated for WoW 3.1.0.
- Added an option to show local time, realm time, or both in the display.
- You should now be able to choose the colour of the text displayed in FuBar (default is white, text in the tooltip remains yellow).
- Restructured the tooltip slightly. Today's date is now shown at the top, with local and server times underneath.

Version 2.0.12
- Removed unused libraries to shrink download file size.

Version 2.0.11
- Added an icon (can be disabled).
- Added hints to the tooltip.
- Shift-clicking the plugin should now toggle GroupCalender if it is installed, or Blizzard's Calendar if not.

Version 2.0.9a
- Bugfixes. Coding in the middle of the night is bad, m'kay?

Version 2.0.8
- Having the "Show Coloured Text" option enabled should now make the text white instead of FuBar's default yellow.

Version 2.0.7
- Updated for WoW 3.0.2.
- Added Server Time display. Game Time can now be found in the tooltip.
- Added options to show seconds and show 12hr format.
- Shift-clicking the plugin will now toggle Blizzard's Calendar.
- Right-clicking the plugin will show uClock's options frame.

Version 1.0
- Initial public release.

Server time versus local time

Does it still show both times, if different, like ClockFu did?

No, it currently only shows local time.
I can make it show server time if you like though. Where would you like it; as text on FuBar or in the tooltip?

Any chance of getting a 12hr format with am/pm?If it's there now, I'm just not seeing it.

Thanx

There is no 12hr format option in uClock. I don't really want to add too many bells and whistles into uClock, but I'll see about adding it.

Server time is coming in the next release. I'll see if I can add a non-bloated way of adding am/pm also.

When I tick off "Show colored text" it still shows time in yellow text, even after reloading UI. I'd like it in plain white if it's not too big of a hazzle. Also it doesn't show seconds which I'd like it to. Looks like it does on your screen at least, but I can't find an option to set it.

Right-click the plugin to access uClock's config dropdown menus. The option to toggle showing seconds should be there.

Error Still There

Hi...

Not sure from your last comment if you meant you fixed the error I reported earlier but I just loaded the last version and I am still getting the following error when I right click on the clock in FuBar:

Date: 2008-10-30 21:28:28
ID: 8
Error occured in: Global

I managed to get to the settings applet by going through the FuBar config panel but when I just mouse over the "seconds" check box I get the following error:

Date: 2008-10-30 21:32:15
ID: 9
Error occured in: Global
Count: 1
Message: LibRockConfig-1.0: Field "desc" not found for `FuBar_uClock->Choose whether to show seconds'.

Hope all this helps to narrow the problem.

Thanks,

I am getting a similar error as Twidget, and no right click menu.

Once that gets fixed, I would like to see the shift-click open Group Calendar, if it is installed, rather than the Blizzard calendar. Would that be possible? The Blizzard mini-map clock does that, but I imagine it is done by Group Calendar.

Thank you for your support!

Re: Error Still There

Whoops sorry about that! This has also been fixed and that should be the last of the problems for now.

GroupCalendar alters the big button on the minimap to add toggle-ability. I've added this to my "To Do" list. I don't use GroupCalendar myself but I'll have a look and see how they do it.

Note to self: Never code in the middle of the night when your realm is down...

Really great! Thank you for fixing the problems and adding the GroupCalendar thing.

One more thing, not really important but if it is not too difficult to do: when attaching uclock to the MiniMap, can it be a digital clock instead of the clock icon?

Thank you so very much.

I'm glad you like it

I don't think I can do this, sorry
Even if I could the text would probably be teeny-tiny and unreadable, so I think I'll pass for now. If someone else manages to get this to work though, then I'll consider adding it.

I can understand that.

This is probably getting beyond the purpose of a FuBar plugin, but I'll ask it anyway: how about an option for a separate frame, similar to MyClock?

Thank you again.

Whoops! I forgot to say "please?"
