FAQ
Q: How do i access the Configuration?
A: You can open the configuration with the Slash Commands (/bt or /bartender) or through the Bartender4 LDB plugin.

Q: Where are my keybindings? And how do i bind new keys?
A: Bartender4 buttons do not automatically inherit keybindings from the Blizzard bars (except for Bar 1), you have to use the new KeyBound to re-bind your keys. You can access KeyBound by its slash command (/kb) or through the button in the BT4 config. Hover a button, press key → voila!

Q: Can I skin the buttons beyond the built-in options?
A: Bartender4 allows skinning through Masque! After installing both Bartender4 and Masque, you can customize the BT4 appearance in the Masque options.

Q: How do i disable the snapping of the bars?
A: Currently, you can temporarily override the snapping by holding down the Shift Key while moving your bars, or uncheck the option in the popup when your bars are unlocked.

Quick question: where is the option where you can choose different types of edges around your spell icons. I have seen it in BT3 but cant find it now

Would be good to have the ability to set both parts of frame anchor...
I'm trying to position my stance bar inline with one of the other bars, but it either shift left and right when I change resolution from 8:5 to 4:3, or when I change class, depends on which anchor I choose...

It is not a job of Bartender.
What you're looking for is ActionBarSaver.

Button layout question

I have a question, I play a warlock and I regularly switch between all 3 specs. For each spec, where I have my buttons placed on my bars is different, but the overall bar layouts are the same.

So the question I'm asking is this, if I have a saved profile for a third spec, will bartender remember where I placed all my buttons for that third spec?

This makes the bars hidden until you either push control, are in combat, in a group, raid, or vehicle. However I want to change it so that instead of the bars showing at 100% alpha when I am in a group or raid I want them to be shown at 30% alpha or something similar until I am actually in combat or have something targeted. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks.
It's fairly simple. The key word you're looking for is "fade".
If you want more explained help, you have to describe intended bar behavior more precisely.

Highlighting

When I punch an ability for my main bar, it will highlight the border. None of my other bars will do this. I like seeing my abilities are trying to be used, to indicate I don't another problem (mouse mode incorrect or numpad turned off for example).

How do I get this feature on my other bars?

Having trouble with the vehicle UI. Looked through some of the comments and saw that the same question was asked, but didn't see any thing addressed to it that might fix it.

Was wondering if I may have missed something?

Thanks!

Another Question: Anyone knows, how to add (graphical) Borders or something to the UI (addon?)?

You mean, gradually fading? I don't know.
You can set bar to "fade" instead of "hide" OOC. But I never bothered to check if it fading out gradually.

See, you already have five standard bars, plus 2-4 additional bars, depends on character class you play. You could bind your keys as you pleased, as well as place your bars on screen as you want it.
Yeah. That's what I've been doing. I just end up with several bars with only 2 buttons on them. Kind of a waste, I guess.

Well, like I said, the n52 has 20 (16 buttons & a D-pad).

Personally, I love Bartender and don't plan to switch, but I've seen some addons that mention nearly unlimited bar sizes. I suspect they fall outside of the Blizzard framework, though, and probably don't support paging or whatever.

I just created a worgen character. When I log into it I cannot access Bartender at all. The button to bring up configuration is non-interactive. I have created a goblin character and have had no issues with bartender. What could the problem be?
Haven't had an issue. Addon conflict?
