Change default damage font.

Download the font you want (for example: www.dafont.com) then put it in "xDamageFont\Fonts" folder and rename it to "damagefont.TTF".
By default it is "Emblem" font.

Yeah, fonts with small details seem to be pixelized.

frustration!

Ok, I've downloaded your addon, extracted it to my addons folder (im using vista), ok- that's set. I log in, see the new text, Emblem.

I decide I want to change my font to Corpse, that I found at dafont.com, save file, add it to my xdamage font->fonts folder, and then theres 2 folders:

damagefont

damagefont.TTF <-- this is the one i downloaded, corpse, rechanged the name to that i stated, I exit the folder, reload WoW, and it's still Emblem.

What do I do to get it to be Corpse font?

You need to display file's extension in your Windows via Option folder.
Maybe you can also right click the file then properties and rename here file's name.
Yeah I know, I am late, sorry

Problem solution

To all the people that had the similar problem as i did and Izy(see his question to the creator of the addon) this is the solution

You have one file when you go to xDamageFonts\Fonts and that is "damagefont"

the trick is just delete that "damagefont" file and put you're font file you chose on datafonts.com (in Izy's case-Corpse) then just rename it as the file you deleted->"damagefont" Voila, you got you're new cool looking font

Yes!! This works! I'd like to add clarity for even the dim witted, when you goto your addon Xdamagefont, click fonts, delete any file that is in there (you dont have to goto recycle bin and delete it, just hit delete). THEN Download your font from dafont.com and add it to your font directory, and do as the poster above be said-- rename it to damagefont

thank you so much.. corpse is badass

Font

I always found it easier to just make a Fonts folder, and create 4 copies of your favorite font, then rename them ARIALIN, MORPHEUS, FRIZQT__, and skurri. Then just drop this folder in your WoW directory. Of coarse this will change all your WoW system fonts. No code needed, so less room for errors.

Is there anyways I can add a blackoutline to the font I chose?

I downloaded Acacia font and replaced damaged font, and find I would really love it better if theres like a shadow/outline to the font. But this is perfect. Anyone can teach me how to?
