The Ultimate Shaman UI 5.0.5 - 1920 x 1080 [16:9-WIDE]  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: v5.0.5

--[[TUSUI v5.0.5 Installation]]--

Welcome to TUSUI! This UI has quite a few addons you may not be familiar with. It is suggested you look at all addon options in case you don't understand what they do or how they work.

To begin the installation of this UI you should back up your current UI and prepare your wow folder to install the UI properly.

**Step 1: Begin by backing up your UI. Create a Backup folder in your wow directy and copy your 'WTF' and 'Interface' folders into your backup folder.

**Step 2: Delete all your current addons from your 'Interface\AddOns\' folder. This is to avoid any addon conflicts.

**Step 3: Open the 'WTF' folder included in this download and rename the according folders inside to match the folders in your current WoW's 'WTF' folder.
You should see 3 folders:
A. YOUR ACCOUNT NAME (not your bnet email)
B. YOUR REALM NAME
C. YOUR CHARACTER NAME

**Step 4: Once your folders have been renamed, copy them directly to your WoW folder and 'Copy and Replace' any files prompted (all in most cases).

**Step 5: Open your WoW, and enable all addons for the character you are currently installing for.

**Step 6: On log in you'll be prompted, after the TUSUI Logo has disappeared from the screen, to 'Install' or 'Ignore'. Clicking the 'Install' button will set the UI up for the character you have set the files up for.
Should for some reason this prompt disappears or you click 'Ignore' and you have not installed the UI, you may use the slash command '/tusui install'.
Your UI should reload and you'll be prompted with additional help info and a confirmation that the UI has been installed correctly.

**Step 7: ...

**Step 8: Enjoy TUSUI v5.0.5

Editing itsymm.lua

Lines 57 - 67:
Code:
-- hide crap
for _,f in pairs{
	GameTimeFrame,	-- this is the calendar/invite icon
	MiniMapBattlefieldBorder,		MiniMapLFGFrameBorder,
	MiniMapMailBorder,				MiniMapMeetingStoneBorder,
	MiniMapMeetingStoneFrame,		MiniMapTrackingBackground,
	MiniMapTrackingButtonBorder,	MiniMapVoiceChatFrame,
	MiniMapWorldMapButton,			MinimapBorder,
	MinimapBorderTop,				MinimapNorthTag,
	MinimapToggleButton,			MinimapZoneTextButton,
	MinimapZoomIn,					MinimapZoomOut,
} do f.Show = f.Hide f:Hide() end
Adding 2 dashes will "comment" out the line:

Code:
-- hide crap
for _,f in pairs{
	--GameTimeFrame,	-- this is the calendar/invite icon
	MiniMapBattlefieldBorder,		MiniMapLFGFrameBorder,
	MiniMapMailBorder,				MiniMapMeetingStoneBorder,
	MiniMapMeetingStoneFrame,		MiniMapTrackingBackground,
	MiniMapTrackingButtonBorder,	MiniMapVoiceChatFrame,
	MiniMapWorldMapButton,			MinimapBorder,
	MinimapBorderTop,				MinimapNorthTag,
	MinimapToggleButton,			MinimapZoneTextButton,
	MinimapZoomIn,					MinimapZoomOut,
} do f.Show = f.Hide f:Hide() end
I've changed this however it doesn't fix the hiding of the calendar icon.

SLDT also has a "Hide GameTime Frame" feature.

Currently however it seems to be broken since unchecking the hide didn't seem to make it reappear.

I'm currently reporting the issue to the author.

I personally use a program called Notepad ++ however you can also shift right click on the file and "open with" (MS) Notepad and do the same thing.

I use a laptop for about 75% of my gameplay and with it I can only go up to 1440x900 Can I get advice about scaling the things to better suit my resolution?

Edit: I think I could get the hang of it if I could figure out what the add on is that does the grey box behind the bottom portion of the UI.

Hey suicidalkatt

First of all, thank you for this absolutely wonderful UI! It works great out of the box! I'm using it on my Resto Druid and after tweaking Grid and Power Auras it's simply perfect.

I've spent last night configuring the UI to match my 1680x1050 resolution and this is what I've come up with:

I've basically moved everything to the left in order to centre it around my character and used your screenshots as guidelines for the positioning.

So far I've only noticed a small bug: whenever I finish a random dungeon and automatically leave the LFG queue, the LFG button on the minimap doesn't disappear. I have informed the add-on's author about this bug, but maybe you know a way to fix this?

Kind regards,

Leots

Even though your default UI is set rather large for me to use .. are all the frames/mods in a respectable area for me to reconfigure on a 1680x1050 resolution without having to scour the edges of the screen looking for stuff?

EDIT: I got it working for myeself, but one question:

I would like to have my health/mana/energy bars DRAIN, rather than fill up. (The way you have it set up now.0 How would I do that? I've looked everywhere in the settings and haven't seen anything on how to do it.

Please and thank you.

Think of it this way. The background of the unit frames is set to "Class color" and the color of mana / health is black.

They are in fact "filling" and not "draining". It takes some getting used to.

Only reason why the command wouldn't work is if you didn't copy saved variables properly. Make sure you renamed your WTF folders correctly and didn't use your battle.net email as the "YOUR ACCOUNT NAME" as that would be incorrect.

Thanks!

Yep, I told the author of the minimap add-on that I'm fairly sure that it's his/her add-on causing the LFG button to not disappear. I hope he/she can fix this bug.
