BasicUI

About Basic UI...
BasicUI is a custom UI for World of Warcraft.

I was torn between a few UI's to use a while back and then relized I could take bits and pieces from each UI to make it my own.

So that is what i did, this is a combination of NeavUI and TukUI the way i wanted them to be.

All addons that are in this UI I was given permission from there respected creators to modify and use.

Addons that are incorporated into BasicUI:

Here are a few things that are included in BasicUI...

Stand Alone UI (there are integrations of other addons to work with BasicUI).
Custom Unitframe Scaleing.
AutoSell all Grey items at a vendor.
Datatext Panels to the left of actionbars.
Detail Tooltip
User Friendly Chat
And much, much, more take a chance download BasicUi and give it a try.

If you raid and use BasicUI please post feed back if all is working or with what issues you have. Works In Progress: A) Flashing Minimap Nodes (like Mappy) to better help when farming ore and herbs. EDIT: I just tried it in 10 man ToT with the threat disabled, didn't help i'm sorry to say.

If you still play and still want to try BasicUI I believe I have the lag in dungeons fixed.

Sorry to hear this - but I totally understand. I hope you know that people not replying here isn't a sign of lack of appreciation for what you do. I hadn't set this to notify me by email for comment updates so I missed it until now. And of course, lots of people read things, go 'oh, okay' and never take the time to comment or just plain don't think to - or just forget.

I can only imagine how difficult it is to write addons, much less complete packages. So no matter what you decide to do, thank you for taking the time you did to create this for us. :-)

Edit: I uninstalled all addons that i had on and done a fresh install, deleted folders etc and installed this UI over and found it is the culprit of the crashes. Just thought i'd pop on and let you know although you don't know the cause for it.

I started to lag as well try turning off the Threatbar on the Datatext section of the options tell me if it helps if so ill remove it. This helped me not to lag spike.

Well now I wish I raided, Not sure what to tell you, maybe try to turn down your graphic options, maybe the addon an your graphics option does not work together. I run mine at "Good" rating but I don't have a high end PC or video card.

Hope that this might help other then that im out of suggestions.

I actually have gotten use to the positions now so it's not such a big deal for me to be honest. But I have been experiencing the game crashing since I've started using this UI. I thought it was a problem with my system at first but it seemed to clear up after I turned off the UI, which is a shame and I dunno how to sort it. But either way, I'm trying to just go with it as it's a really great piece of work. But if you know something I don't that would be great.

The best way to make sure it is the UI is to disable all your addons then only enable BasicUI log into wow and see if it still crashes if so then its the UI (but I have no crash issues on my end). If it doesn't crash then BasicUI might be conflicting with another addon.

Please let me know what you find out.
