Neav UI  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 9.0.4
by: Neal, ballagarba, thomasjohnshannon

Neav UI
This UI compilation will work on all resolution.

I will not help with questions
Most of the addons in this compilation is only configurable via the supplied Lua config files (config.lua), so some basic programming knowledge is highly recommended but not required. A lot of the options are basically setting the value to either true or false depending on if you want to enable or disable the feature.

AddOns include
!Beautycase
!Colorz
nBuff
nChat
nCore
nMainbar
nMinimap
nPlates (by thomasjohnshannon)
nPower
nTooltip
oUF (by Haste)
oUF_Neav
oUF_NeavRaid

Thanks to Haste, kerrang, zork, Tuller, and many more for their great AddOns. And thomasjohnshannon/Grimsbain for making Neav UI compatible with Legion.

Information
A lot of the addons have a config.lua file where you can change some settings. So look first into this file before you ask something! Some addons like nCore, oUF_Neav and oUF_NeavRaid have an in-game configuration.

How can I move the player, target, focus, boss and arena frames?
Use the /neav slash command to toggle the anchors to move the frames around.

How can I move the Pet-, Stance- or Possessbar?
Press Shift + Alt and drag with your left mouse button on the first button of the Pet-, Stance- or Possessbar to move the them.

Commands
/neavrt to move the raid frames.
/rolecheck or /rcheck to do a role check.
/ntooltip toggles the tooltip anchor.
/alertframemover toggles the "talking head" anchor.
/neavcast toggles the anchors for the castbars.
/neavbag toggles the bag bar.
/moveextraactionbar toggles the anchor for the extra action button.

Thanks for the update! I just got back for Legion, and seeying this UI working again/still is great!

In the past I did what Maxen is asking but atm I cant seem to find the debuff anchor? Im so out of coding atm :P

My question is about the same as Maxen: I want to display buffs and debuffs on the player frame. Buffs on bottom going left and down. Debuffs on top going left and up. Now I can get to the point where I can separate them completely by adding 2 sets of aura's on the frame and just showing buffs in 1 and debuffs in the other, but that makes 1 frame not getting a skin.

Is this something that anyone can help me with?

Thanks for the update!

Is it possible to anchor the debuffs on the player frame instead? If you can point where it is done, I'll give it a try.

Re: Re: neav raid frames

Thanks for your reply! I managed to get the raid frames working again with no frame rate issues (naturally this happens after I post my earlier comment *laughs*).

That said, I deleted and re-added the wowinterface version of oUF_NeavRaid (not the github version) and disabled raid assist frames. It's possible that I mucked with something that messed it up previously. I'm just going to thank my lucky stars. Cheers and thanks!

The odd heal predictions may just be due to new mechanics like the Warlock Soul Leech passive. I ran a BG and a LFR to check for lag but I didn't run into any. I was running as a Hunter so indicators don't show up so that may be worth checking.

I'm really sadden that nPlates is no longer continued, it is 100 times better than the new legion nameplates, I'm missing the colors and how threat looks with it, also I'm sad about nPower, because the way legion CP look is awful, I'm used to the combo-points that was above nPower in numbers.
nPlates would have been a full rewrite from scratch so it is probably dead unless someone feels like putting a lot of time into it but nPower should be back soon.

No, unfortunately not. The only thing you can do is disable the "Always Show ActionBars" option, but it won't do what you want.

I've uploaded a new version. Huge thanks to thomasjohnshannon/Grimsbain who's done most of the work!! However, there's some stuff to note:

- nPower and nPlates are gone. They might, or might not make a comeback at a later stage. But for now you will have to make do with the new UI elements introduced in Legion.
- The custom tooltip on the player, target and focus is gone. So to move those frames around we've adapted a similar mechanism as the one you'd use to move the petbar around. Just press shift-alt and drag the frame (outside of combat!). There's also a new slash command (/neavreset) to reset the position of these frames.
- Some options that some people might've used are gone as well, simply because they were too buggy.
- There's a new "toggle bag" feature which is useful when you want to get access to bagbar, you can see it in action here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EASp12m_GzQ

There might still be issues, especially if you're using non-default options which hasn't been tested. But it's mostly working at least

Back in cata I was able to change the hotkey text color by changing

Code:
HotKeyText = { 0.6, 0.6, 0.6 },
but now it only changes the color of keybinds on emtpy buttons like so

and I assume this part in the config is for items on your bar (such as trinkets?)

Code:
IsEquipped = { 0, 1, 0 },
I wanted to change the bright green color of equipped items to something darker but changing that also does nothing.

Also... when I submit a ticket to Blizz where is the icon that tells me how long till its answered? if I remember correctly the icon used to show up somewhere around the picomenu button but it doesn't anymore... I don't know if it was actually this version of nmainbar that did it or a fix in the comments years ago but could that be fixed? Having to disable it just to see how long is left gets annoying :/
