KG Panels Borders

A few borders for use with KG Panels.

Basic update. more color options, still working on textures on the borders (leafy, steel) can't get them just right but should have this done soon.

Installation:

Unzip to your Interface folder. This file should not be in your Add Ons folder. When you open your interface folder you should see this folder as well as the Add-Ons folder.

I take no credit for the creation of these borders. After many hours of searching and reading others requests for borders I found a few and put them together.

You will need to follow the directions available from KG Panels to import these for use.

Having these has shown me how the borders need to be set up. If anyone has a request on a custom border please post here, and I will upload them when created.

Included a new boarder - Neav (got it as close as I could anyways)

Confirmed working with KGpanels Cata Beta

This shouldn't be so hard. Basically just rounded edges I'll give it a shot. Look for it this weekend (Sunday)

Cool, let me know if they don't work for you for some reason. I tested all of them to ensure they worked before I uploaded them.

Calest A Defias Bandit Forum posts: 3 File comments: 12 Uploads: 1	jeffy162, it sounds like you tried to import them incorrectly. These are compliant other wise they wouldn't work for me. Shared media wont import them the way they need to be added. The first upload did have a couple "boxes" that didn't work correctly and have since been removed. You need to follow the KGpanels import direction to use these. Basic instructions - 1. Open Your WoW interface folder and create a new file named 'Textures'. (this should be next to your Add-ons file, not in it.) 2. Unzip this add on to that file. 3. Log into WoW 4. Open KGpanels via /kgpanels config 5. Select Art Library, there are three boxes here - Artwork Name, Artwork type and Artwork Path. Artwork Name - Call it what ever you want so long as there is a name in there and click Okay. Artwork Type - chose Border from the drop down Artwork Path - \\Interface\AddOns\Artwork\exact name of file you want to use.tga 9. Click okay then add. You may need to reload your UI. Once this is done when you open KGpanels config, and select Art Library go to Borders and the name will appear in the list. Click on it and it should give you a preview if it was uploaded correctly. include spaces Last edited by Calest : 04-25-10 at 02:42 AM.

I don't know if it's the way I added these borders, or what, but they only show up in my kgPanels as white rectangles when I mouse over the name. If I use them, they just don't show up. I added the borders to WoW through the SharedMedia_MyMedia addon. Last edited by jeffy162 : 04-21-10 at 10:20 PM.

I'll give it a shot. Not sure how it will handle borders that aren't in lines but its worth a try! Look for more this weekend, this request may be in there. If not it will be in the next one.
