HBar
  • What does it do?
It hides everything on your actionbars exept your buttons, shortens it down to the mere width of all twelve buttons. It also moves your actionbars to different positions on the screen to take as little space as possible.
  • Why would i use this addon?
Because you got tired of the original actionbars or perhaps other bar mods just didn't cut it. You might also want to use this addon because of it's VERY low memory print (~4kb while playing, no CPU impact).

I recommend that you use this with HBarHide

Add Bars ?

Very nice add'on !

Could you tell me please if there is any possibility to add some bars (2, of wich "MultiBarBottomLeft" one)?
And why the upper bar is the "MultiBarBottomRight" and not the "MultiBarBottomLeft" one please?
And btw, where is the "MultiBarBottomLeft" ? I can't see this bar. (in .lua this bar isnt hidden)

Thanks, good job for this add'on.
The reason the bars are stacked a bit odd is because the pet bar was a bit weird, but that can be arranged. MultiBarBottomRight/Left is the bottom right/left bars toggled from the normal interface menu.

About MultiBarBottomLeft; i forgot to reset it back onto the screen.. I'll upload the fix in a few minutes, i'm still reconfiguring the entire file for the public/people who don't use HBarHide..

Also, this just moves/reconfigures blizzards original bars, so no bars/buttons can be added/removed (unless you fix it yourself).

Keep posting questions, bugs, suggestions and constructive criticism please!

In fact, atm I use BarFix as ActionBar Add'on.
So I would like to have, more or less, the same config with your, because it is nicer than BarFix (I use Hgraphics also).

There my action bars. As you can see (or not ) there is 4 bars (+ minion's bar).
In the top left "MultiBarBottomLeft", in the top right "MultiBarBottomRight".
under there are "MainActionBar" and the extra bar from BarFix.

In short, is there any posibility to do something like that with your add'on?
Modify HBar, or maybe Hgraphics to be compatible with BarFix ?
There a screenshot with BarFix + Hgrapics, you can see my problem =)

If you can give me some hints to do this, I'm gonna love you

I'd just recommend you to completely switch to HBar if you wish to use Hgraphics.. It took me about two hours to set the graphics so it'd look nice on all scales instead of one fixed one. If i were to guide you through your code and edit your AB (actionbar) code along with your Hgraphics code, it'd take me forever.

I think it might be because i hid "PossessBarLeft" and "PossessBarRight".. I should comment those two out, but i can't be sure.. Comment those out and try again.

This is fantastic! Takes some setup the first time you use it, but this is just perfect for WOTLK. Was hoping to minimize my UI, thank you so much for this!

Okay, I do have one question. Does this mod control the greyed out color of action bars when an action is not available? Like, if you're out of food, out of pots, a seal isn't up for Judging or Hammer of Wrath is unavailable because the mob isn't at 20% or lower? I'm used to those indicators and it has been causing me a lot of confusion without them, and perusing through the lua I didn't see anything right off hand that would be the fade out textures.

What can I change to bring the fadeout textures back? Thank you in advance for any help you could give, otherwise, still lovin this mod.

I might be dumb to not quite understand what you mean (it's not your explanation, it's just me), but HBar controls range-coloring on the buttons for in/out of range marking. It does nothing else to the buttons since it wasn't in the original idea. I'll concider writing an optional file that takes care of such things, but i probably wont due to my lack of programming skills and time.

My tip is for you to ask around the forums... I'm sorry that i can't be of more help.

Are you sure? T__T Using any other bar mods I have no trouble, but like... it's basically say if you have food or healthstones hotkeyed, but you don't have any how it greys out because its unavailable? With HBar the unavailable grey doesn't show up :T And basically it shows up without HBar, but not with HBar, so its kind of frustrating trying to figure out how to make it reshow <__<

Sorry for explaining again, just wanna make sure we're on the same page.

Do you mean the letters that show your hotkeys and macro names? HBar hides those for a cleaner look and if you wish to re-enable them comment lines 176 and 177

Heya Sorry to be such a bother, its just so weird for it to not work It does wthout hbar but not with /emo.

No worries on that Thank you SOOO MUCH for taking the time to fix it also <3 you have no idea how much I appreciate it. This mod is just fantastic, and even if it takes a bit to setup, once you get it set how you like it, ees nice. Thank you again for creating this mod, and taking the time to figure out how to fix the problem
