DESCRIPTION

Track your reputation with some glorious bars!

Reputation Bars is a modular addon that lets you watch one or more faction standings, i.e. the amount of reputation you have with them. It can be used to track specific factions or automatically track the ones you gain rep with. It is especially useful for those with custom UIs that no longer have the default Blizzard rep bar available.

You can use this while leveling to see your reputation bar or simply as a way to show you how much you have left for various factions as you grind your way to exalted...

FEATURES
* WatchBar module replaces the default Blizzard reputation watch bar.
* WatchBar tracks the currently active faction (similar to Blizzards built in bar).
* WatchBar can automatically switch the active faction to the one you gain reputation with.
* AutoBars module that automatically tracks recently gained reputation.
* StaticBars module to track specific factions that you specify.
* Automatically fadeout bars when no reputation has been gained for a while to avoid cluttering your UI.
* All bars can be customized in order to fit most UI configurations (supports SharedMedia for a larger variety of fonts and bar textures).
* Simply disable any modules you don't need through the configuration UI.

I recommend that you also install the SharedMedia addon for a larger variety of fonts and bar textures.

CONFIGURATION

Configuration is done using the Blizzard addon configuration interface. You can right click on the title bar to open it, or use the slash command /rptb.

I saw in the static bars module that the factions could be sorted A-Z or Z-A and 2 other ways that I don't remember at the moment. Would it be possible to have them sorted by expansion too. If you look at the images in my previous posts, you could see that I still have Shado-Pan assault from Mists of Pandaria that I still work on when I have some time to spare listed right in the middle of the Legion ones. It would be great if I could just send it at the end of the list. No sort at all would also be an idea. We could then be able to place the factions in the order we'd like them to be listed. They would simply appear in the order we add them to the list. In my case, I would choose to have all the main factions of Legion on top, but I would put Talon of Vengeance at the bottom of the Legion ones (I hate PVP... hehehe) and then Shado-Pan assault. Thank you very much.

It's not really a problem since I see the numbers on the bar itself. It is very easy to see how much is left to reach the next 10,000. Some suggestions (Note: all suggestions are predicated that they are customizable/toggle-enabled to the user's preference): -1Shade colors? It currently has red/yellow/green for interactions, but I would request the option to have deeper shades of red and green for the level of rep (so most green at "exalted", light yellowish-green but green enough to indicate friendly response at "friendly" rep. -1aAlternative: to allow the keeping of the current default color scheme but still allow quick visual indication of rep level, by default (IE, for when the mouse is NOT moused over the rep bar), there could be text indicating current status. For example: while no mouse over: "The Wardens (75/3000) friendly" instead of as is. Abbreviations definitely acceptable! -2Rep that is clicked on takes you to the rep pane with the side-info-pane opened too for that rep -3anchor that grows the bars horizontal either right or left in addition to the already in place options of grow up or down. -4Option to view rep as percentage vs points (with mouse over still showing actual points left as it currently is) -5Option to customize the reps names as shown on this add on (For example: Highmountain Tribe changed to custom text by user input, like I would probably rename this rep to "H. Thanks for reporting. I will look into it.

I took a look at this error and notices that at line 303 you have the following

ReputationWatchStatusBar:Hide() which appears to need to just be ReputationWatchBar

also after making this change and testing i got an error on line 312 just below with
ReputationWatchBarOverlayFrame:Show() I could not find this anywhere so i commented it out and the mod seems to be working for the moment. I also commented out line 304 as well which is ReputationWatchBarOverlayFrame:Hide().

Not sure what effect this will have on other parts but seems to be a temp fix for the current error.
