Aura Unit Frames

Addon is currently in pre Alpha

New unit frames that are currently in development.

Whats my goal with this? Well my plan is to create an addon that will allow the user to highly customise their UI, along the same lines as Discord unit frames allowed, but without all the extra stuff that comes with DUF, that in my opinion, makes it too bulky.

Aims

* To make the addon easy to use, yet have a high degree of scalability and customizability
* To make sure only things that are needed and actually to do with unit frames are added/included in the addon
* Make sure everything in the addons options are clear to use and understand. So that you don't need to spend 4 weeks learning how to move the frames around


Hopefully I'll have something to show soon, getting back to uni has slowed my down a bit and changing my coding style a few times recently hasn't sped anything up. Thankfully this semester is far more forgiving work wise so things should continue to move along.

Portraits added
Combat info added to the portrait (dmg in and out)
Player pet added
Party pets added

Backgrounds added to the statusbars
Percentages added to the statusbars text info
Some re-anchoring of a couple of frames to avoid odd tooltips

Known bug - Life tap does not show the hp loss on the combat info, bug on blizz's side as its they're code I'm using.

No problem. The limitation on the frames us due to needing to use the secureGroupHeaders to make showing and hiding the party frames easily.

Looking over it atm the only way to have each frame individually movable would be to have them all preset on screen and make them see through to hide em.

Personally I have not decided what method I'll go with. If making them all moveable is what works best then I will recode it to be able to do that, or if having them as one block works best it will be that way. But have no fear both methods will be looked into. Ofc it may be possible to position them in the secure header as well, but atm I need to look into it more.

Awsome thanx for your reply. Hopefully you can work out how to move each individual party frame. This would be the first Unitframe that could do it (at least the frist one i have been able to find) as most of the other ones the party frames move as a group which makes positioning them exactly where you want them a pain

Currently there isn't an actual config menu/ ability to customise. But I fully intend for it to be able to do all you asked by the time it is complete.

Moving them independantly is something I want, but atm the secure unit headers are taking some work for me to get my head around. But soon I shall crack it :P

I like concept. Hope it will allow me to move each party independently of each other.

I quick question, how do unlock or move the unitframes, and is there a config mode where i can see all unitframes so i can move them around wihtout having to be in a party or raid.

Looking forward to see how this turns out
