I had the same problem, this is what I did to resolve it.

* Type /sdb height 555 or higher.
* You should see the bar now, center it in your screen by dragging the bar
* Type /sdb height 14

This should fix the issue. I did not require any dependencies.

This made me giggle.

This is a very nice addon that does one thing very well. I have been using DruidBar for a long time, but that addon has become bloated with a lot of features I don't use. All I need is a mana bar that displays mana status when my Druid is in a form that doesn't have a default mana bar, and SimpleDruidBar does that.

A few suggestions:
1- Add a command to lock (and unlock) the position of the bar. For now, I've changed your code so that the bar is not moveable, and I am positioning it with the addon FluidFrames.
2- Move the options to the Blizzard addon interface panel, instead of relying solely on slash commands.
3- Add a vertical bar option in place of the standard horizontal bar.

This function is now available through the default UI. But thank you very much for making this addon available until Blizzard introduced that feature.

I love this bar so much, but I was wondering if there's -any- way you'd be willing to make an option to have it display when not in forms, as well.

As a Resto Druid, I like to have my mana visible in the center of my screen, with my Grid and bar with all my healy spells. I don't want the entire "player" clump or anything, just the neat little mana bar like you already have.

I'd be in HEAVEN if you were willing!
