HealBot Continued   

I just tried HealBot for the first time and it's awesome. Only problem is not being able to cast on targets. Is this intentional/unavoidable or can it be fixed somehow in the current version?

Somehow i cant get my mouse´s middle button work.

As a priest when casting greater heal (prolly as any class casting a long casttime heal) I would like to be able to stopcasting a current greater heal and start casting a new one with one click. This way I could always have a greater heal incoming and be able to restart the 3 secs if the heal is not needed. Now I could jump or move to stop the cast and click again, but that costs precious splitseconds. Advanced priests make macros like:
/cast greater heal
/stopcasting
To make each click restart the castbar.

Could it be possible that you implement a feature (as an option maybe) in healbot so that we click a bar to heal....if we click it again within casttime, it restarts the casttime.

What Race, Class and Level is your character? I think i might know why it is bugging out.

Without addons a priest would make a macro:
/cast greater heal
/stopcasting

So that everytime he clicks the button, the spell would be stopped and recast, resetting the casting time. This allows the priest to always have a greater heal in the pipeline and only land it when the target really needs it (mana efficient, wipesaving seconds are won).

Now in healbot, wouldnt it be easy, if each click on a bar stopped casting the currently casting spell and start casting the spell corresponding with the click.

Im not a programmer, but it doesnt seem hard to implement. (as an option?)

If you really need the stop casting feature, you could easily create a macro like normal and use the name of the macro instead of a spell name for your mouse binding. For ex. have a macro Huge Heal that contains:
/cast [target=hbtarget] Greater Heal
/stopcasting

in healbots spell options just enter the name Huge Heal instead of what you would normally use as a spell name. Just make sure when creating the macro you use [target=hbtarget]. Healbot uses hbtarget as a proxy in macro and converts it to the correspoding unit name.

ok i have a quick and possibly stupid question, how do you disable the messages you get from healbot?
the ones that say "healbot_heals> ## <<=>> name" or something along those lines, ive tried putting the messages to " no messages" but i still get them and its really annoying when my chat gets flooded

I really really wouldn't like this "feature". When I am healing e.g. the tanks in the fight against Brutallus, I klick the GH button like crazy to loose no time and to overcome the lag. Even if it is a option you can choose, what sense would this make? When an emergency situation comes up where you need to spam a certain heal and have this option activated you are lost.

This will be fixed in the next version. It is being caused by unknown pet classes.

I've loved using healbot for a while now, but I have had a problem that I can't figure out how to solve. Taking Kara for an example, I have it set up to show groups 1 and 2 and raid pets. We generally rotate between fights, or as people come late or leave early. When people join or leave the raid, however, it reorganizes the people shown in my healbot bars. Out of combat, this isn't a big deal because it will sort them by group again after a couple of seconds. The problem is when this happens in combat they don't sort back into the designated groups until we leave combat, and when this happens during a boss fight it pretty much negates the usefulness of the mod. Is there a way to lock the groups when in combat that I'm just missing?
