Flourish  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Version: 3.0
by: spAnser [More]

Flourish displays finished (not yet turned in) quests as part of the current experience gained.

You've been questing all day to hit that next level you go to town and bam you turned in everything and still didn't level. Well now you can tell right from you experience bar if you will level from your current quests or not, maybe grind a few mobs before hearthing to town or finish that other small quest in the area.

In the screenshot the top one shows a yellow bar indicating how far completed quests will get you in your current level. The bottom green bar means you will hit the next level when turning in all or some of your completed quests.

The quest xp is not included in the mouse over text of current experience.

Suggest and Ideas are accepted as long as they pertain to the mod
ex.
-I am not making a quest log window
-I am not keeping a history of quests
-I am not auto accepting/turning in quests

Support For the Following XP Bar Addons

*Known Bugs*
Somtimes the Bar provided by this addon displays above the standard blizzard xp bar instead of behind it. It is a limitation of how I display it. It cannot be fixed unless I recode the action bar xml file. Reloading your UI can fix it sometimes.

There is an addon called Factionizer if i am not mistaken it gives you in number how much virtual rep you have in your bags and bank but it is not always accurate.

If you can translate these numbers into the rep bar you are halfway done.

This despite ["playSound"] = false, appearing in the saved variables.

i thought i had checked the area that sets the checkboxes but i didn't should be fixed in v1.5

very hard to position the bars without being forced to change theirs which i don't want to modify but ive always experienced it over the rested xp bar not hidden behind it unless you mean the rested bar is hidden. The show shadow option modifies the way flourish positions it self so try updated the flourish bar by checking and unchecking and option when changing the show shadow xparky option to update flourish's bar

Flourish should really put its bar on the end of the Xparky rest XP measure, as rest XP has no effect on your quest XP and the effect is different from its display with the default Blizzard XP bar. If you consistently have rest XP and a limited number of incomplete quests, the hidden Flourish bar makes it pretty much pointless to have hooked into Xparky. Hope this can be improved.
putting the bar on the end wont help you know how far it will take you since it would mean you would get that much assuming you went and used all your rested experience before turning in the quest which isn't what i think you would want?

Flourish's extra bar shows up properly on the end, but it seems to be improperly affecting the rest of the bar.

As in the main XP gained bar shows up in one shade of Flourish's "army green" and Flourish's actual bar is a different shade of "army green" at the end. Relog, the Blizzard bar color reverts to blue (with Flourish's green bar at the end). Sometime in the future (its not 100% reproducible), the overlapping army green comes back.
another problem with the layers and the way blizzard draws it if i move flourish back its hidden behind the rested if i move it forward its over the entire bar including the bubbles

I am going to try to work on moving around the different layers and trying to get it to work properly without the occasional overlapping that is currently happening. For me I could careless what my current XP is if I'm questing I just wanna know how far I am including quests.

Blizzard should have fun one week and disable any visual notification of experience gain and just let you keep playing and leveling as you normally would but instead of knowing it would be a surprise.

In case you're unfamiliar with Spartan their main site is http://www.spartanui.com/
wow i used to use spartan ui for my multibox when i started the addon and totally forgot that i wanted to have it supported as well but switched off it and forgot all about it
