Clique is a simple addon that enables powerful click-casting and hover-casting on your unit frames and in the 3D game world. You can bind virtually any mouse or keyboard combination to a spell or macro. In it's normal configuration this enables you to use the bindings over your unit frames in order to cast spells directly on that unit. This allows you to more quickly select both the spell to cast, and the target of the spell without requiring an extra click.
To begin with Clique, open your spellbook and click on the new tab that is shown there. You can also open the configuration GUI by running the /clique slash command. From this binding interface you can add, remove and alter any of your Clique bindings. You will be unable to make these changes when you are in combat due to limitations in the Blizzard API.
Binding a spell
Binding a spell is just a matter of finding the spell in your spellbook, putting your mouse over it, and performing the binding you would like to add. For example, if you'd like to set 'Regrowth' to activate on 'Shift-LeftButton', then you just find that spell in your spellbook and then Shift-LeftClick on it. You can also bind keyboard combinations, so you could do the same with Shift-R if you'd like.
Keep in mind when you are setting your bindings that they will override any bindings that are already set on the frame, for example the default bindings to 'Target unit' and 'Show unit menu'. You can override these bindings if you would like, but you should then set a new different combination that will activate the original functions
Binding the 'Target unit' or 'Show unit menu' actions
If you've rebound or lose these default bindings, you can re-bind them using the 'Bind other' button in the Clique configuration. Click on the button, and choose the correct action and you will be presented with a dialog box that allows you to set the binding for that action. Simply choose a new key combination, and you will be able to target units and open your menu again.
Binding a macro
Binding a macro can also be found on the 'Bind other' button. You'll be given a new window with instructions and suggestions about writing your macros, but other than that the process should seem very similar.
Managing click-sets
Each binding can belong to a number of binding-sets. These sets determine when the binding is active. The built-in binding-sets are as follows:

Re: the flashy happy but un clickable Clique tab:
It was ONE and only ONE version of omen that was causing it. I disabled it clique worked, re enabled it wouldn't click...found an update 2 days later (goodness knows there was prolly one sooner) and it worked. Just thought to report back now. |

Thank You
Just want to say Thank You for creating this awsome mod. It has run flawlessly for me all the time (at least as long i remembered to update it). This has made my life as a healer sooo much easier. Thanx again

Is there a way to get this mod to do combinations of the options?
Basically, I want to target the unit as well as cast a spell on them.. because otherwise I have to manually /target them if I want to use Swiftmend.. which is much too slow. |

I'm having an issue with the current version of Clique and Pitbull unit frames. In particular, the Party Pet frames in Pitbull. Clique works on any of the other frames that I have enabled it for, but I get no response at all when trying to click-cast on the Pitbull Party Pets frames.
I'm pretty sure it's a problem specific to those frames, because if I set a party member's pet as my focus and then click-cast on the focus frame to cast spells on their pets, it works without any trouble. (This is not a problem regarding phase shifted pets or anything like that, either.) Perhaps this is also the problem that the below poster was having and causing him to think the mod isn't working at all? Can someone test this out and see if they have any trouble click casting on these frames?

Actually I discovered where I am going wrong.
Here is how I thought the mod worked: I am a priest, and I setup shift-rightclick so that I can give Fortitude to anyone I may run by in town or out in the wilds. When I come across someone, I hover the mouse over the player and hold shift, then right click them, and it casts fortitude on them. Bam, easypeasy. Or like with my hunter, I setup shift-leftclick so that my pet rushes off to attack what I was hovering over before I right click that target and open up my own fury (making things quicker and easier than dealing with hotkeys/toolbar buttons) Here is how it seems to only work though: With the case of the priest: Instead of hover over the player and shift-rightclick, I have to first click the player so their target window shows up top left next to mine, then I move the mouse all the way up there and then hold down shift and right click on their target frame. It then casts fortitude on them. More difficult than going to a toolbar button to click me thinks. For the pet, its just the same. This defeats the purpose I was hoping for, that I could be running into battle, and shift-click a target and have my pet start off on them. Currently I leftclick target, then hit ctrl-1 while also holding down W... finger mayhem. ANYHOO.... My bad, I was completely off the track on how this mod worked (click cast actual targets... not some tiny frame up top left). I'm sure its a great mod for uber-power-users with macros out the arse... but for making something somewhat tedious more easier, not so much. It makes it more tedious. I will hold off on using this till such time where I have complicated stuff to do. And yes, I am using r88 with NO OTHER MODS ON... I dont know how many times I have to say that. |

1. Target unit in your raid 2. Press the keybinding for the spell you'd like to cast You can do: 1. Shift-click on the target in your raid, and the spell will be cast. It just plain wasn't designed for the use you're looking for.. since it can't currently be done with mouse clicks. Clique is absolutely great at what it was designed for.
Thanks.

Regarding the Bug with Pitbull Pet Unit Frames and Clique (see below). I had this bug, too. But with the newest version of both addon, it should be working. I can not reproduce the bug ( i had posted at wowace-pitbull forum 2 weeks ago about this problem, there was ne reaction...).
But with testing to assign the right-click i found a little issue. If a right click was assigned with clique and is removed, the normal right click ( opening the wow unit -frame menu) isnt working). It works with assigning the right click to open the menu, of course. ( My girlfriends drive me mad shouting: " i can not leave the party", because i tried everything with rightlicking and pitbull, but i remove the assignment... . I would understand if there are problems to assign the normal wow right-click, but if you can reset the normal behavior if the assignment is removed, if would be flawless. Nice addon btw, and keep on working |

hi and many thx for this great addon!
im using it with CT_raidassist - so just clicking on the party members shown by CT_raidassist. but especially in 25er raids when some party members are out of range and need some heal i click on them useless because they're not in range. is it possible to color up the CT_raidassist partymembers that arent in range? there is an option within the emergeny monitor to "show only in healing range", but i'd like to abandon the emergency monitor and do healing just further by clicking on the party members. thx for help |
