The purpose of this mod is to help selling items in an easier way than just clicking all of them in the merchant.

How to use it
As simple as going near a merchant and opening his/her trade window, then you can click on the sell button (money icon). By default the addon only sells junk items (poor quality items).

Options

  • Auto sell: Allows the addon to automatically sell the items as soon as you open the merchant window, usefull if you want to sell your items fast.
  • Preview: The addon will show a confirmation box and the items that would be sold so you can check the items before selling them.
  • Information type: Controls the amount of information the addon will output in the chat frame. You can choose full or lite.

Modules
The addon has several modules that can be activated or deactivated to fit your needs. This can be done from the addon's list in the character selection screen. By default all modules are disabled.
  • SellOMatic_Item: This module helps you sell items based on its quality and item level.

  • SellOMatic_List: This module helps you sell or save items using sell and save lists.

  • SellOMatic_Destroy: This module helps you destroy junk items.
    More info here.
  • SellOMatic_Class: This module helps you sell BoP items you can't use.
    More info here.

You can have any combination of them activated, from none to all.

Commands
/sellomatic Opens the configuration window
/som Same as /sellomatic

If you have all modules enabled, included the class module that means that all BoP items that the mage can't use (like an axe or relic) will be sold. If you want to control which items you want to sell despite they can be used or not with your current character then disable the class module in the addon's list (from the character selection screen).

If (for example) you want to sell all BoP items then you can disable the class module and enable the following options in the item module: Sell BoP, Sell green, Sell blue, Sell epic. This will sell all BoP that are either green, blue or epic quality.

bug report

only options ticked: Item options / Sell BoP.
all modules loaded.

My mage want to sell Tankard O' Terror (1h mace) and a green 1h axe, but not Bioluminescent Buckler (shield)...
On the other hand, he correctly sells a green 2H axe and a green relic BoP...
I don't understand...

Sorry for the late reply, there was a problem with the class module that was selling BoE items. I've fix it to keep it as it should be, it will sell all the items that your current character can't use, but it should respect the save list (if you have the list module enabled).

note I added the Barbed Club to the list because I wanted to keep it so I could test if you fixed it or not...

but it's not just BoEs...it sold a BoP green on my rogue....note that it was a BoP she could not use...and the Barbed Club was on a toon that could not use it...do you suppose that might be part of it...I'm gonna mail the Club to a toon that could actually use it and see what happens...

the rogue is on a different account....here is her SV data....

ok I bounced the Barbed Club of Stamina around from toon to toon...and made sure it was not on the "save" list...and this is the results...

Mage - vendored
Paladin - not vendored
Hunter 1 - vendored
Hunter 2 - vendored
Rogue - not vendored
Priest - not vendored

so the toons that cannot equip it sellomatic vendored it...on the toons that can equip it, it did not...

hope all this helps...

edit again...I disabled the Class module and sellomatic no longer wants to sell my greens...

um, why did Sell-o-matic just sell my Barbed Club of Stamina to a vendor...it's a green BOE ilvl 19 item...and sell-o-matic is not set up to be selling greens...all my checkboxes are empty...

I suppose it's a similar problem to destruct1ons Wand...except when I added the Barbed Club to the save list, it actually saved it, and didn't try to sell it to the vendor...

I had a problem with a green BoE Wand when hitting the sell button. It was the only green BoE in my inventory it sold, I have about 16 others most of which are the same level and item level. Even after adding it to the 'save' list it still sold the item.

The difference between Use iLevel and iLevel value is that the first one is the trigger to enable or disable the option and the second one is the value to use if the option is set. Selling items using iLevel needs all the other options to be enabled or disabled to work. It will check the type of item (BoP or BoE) and the quality and if it's enabled, it will sell it.

I've fixed the example, now it should be good.

As for the "Sell items I can't use", I will probably add it in next release.

There are several enhancements that version one doesn't have and the main one is he posibility to enable or disable modules to fit your needs. I will continue with this project and remove the old one but I liked the idea of having both versions available at the same time to let the user try between the two of them and see what things they miss or would like to be added in the new version.
