    as I'm sure 3.3 broke "shadowtech" I'll just keep this page as a placeholder. My current UI is about to be finished and I'll upload it here I suppose.

    V1.3
    textures are 100% satisfactory
    parenting is solid
    removed all excess mods

    to do:
    -make all the configurations work as the default. set-up is easy, but no set up at all would be preferrential.

    When you install the addon it has your account name in there, may want to take that out

    Turns out if you scale the UI a little you can get it to fit *most* screens, a little tweaking and i got it looking great on 1680x1050, thanks for the UI, SO amazing. Keep it up!


    Edit: What are your ICE HUD settings?

    tyvm I'll be making versions for different resolutions soon. I'm working with some addons for multi boxing, which is why its taking me so long to update.

    So I've installed your compilation. On my install, the config.wtf in the root of the Account folder doesn't let me start up the game at all. And when I try to load the 'lock profile in dominos it says Invalid Profile. Everything else, so far, works fine.

    Running this in OS X btw.

    <edit> I think the Config.wtf you have packaged with the download is more specific to your computer which is why its messing up when i try it. </edit>
    <edit2> Odd, It now works as far as I can see. Nevermind me. </edit2>

    keeping both skada and omen is somewhat useless imo
    skada got an integrated threatmeter, and an autoswitch option as well
    set it to threat in-fight, damage done or dps out-fight
    that way you saved the cpu time/ram of omen

    the battle text is called Mik's Scrolling Battle Text, just a little typo there, but could lead to confusions
    an alternative would be parrot (my favorite) or sct

    that said, one thing left

    nice interface, as far as i can see you did put some real effort into it
    keep it up

    I like/need to see both at the same time, I love skada's options but prefer both. I have 6 gigs of ram so memory is never an issue for me anyway hehe

    I actually havent tried out parrot yet, I like mik's just fine, but I suppose I'll have to give it a shot and see if its any better.

    I had been using a really cool ... but strange... method with Ice Hud, and really the only problem I have with HUDs is that you then need another place for the target's name, buffs and debuffs. icehud can put these in the bottom middle, but its just too ugly for me, so I find myself using a normal unitframes mod, anyway. Then, I was using icehud for its cast bars only, they actually looked phenominal, but didnt fit in with the scheme of the UI that well, so i removed the addon completely. I would say though that icehud is probably the best HUD out there, if you can finagle it right haha

    Overlap on 1280x800 (Widescreen) setting
    1. The Pet Skill Bar overlaps with player skill bar.
    2. The Your Pet Bar overlaps with the pet's hunger icon.
    3. The Unit Frames are not centered which affects the other message boxes.

    Many other overlapping issues when in combat, and with messages. This may be affecting all widescreen resolutions, not sure.

    I am willing to send you a screenshot if you request it. Your U.I. layout is beautiful, and functionally efficient. I would like it very much to work perfectly.


    P.S. Use Scale UI does not solve the problem as the overlaps scale with it.

    P.P.S. Just to comment, I am not sure which mod uses the font that looks comical. It appears when entering a new area. It breaks the whole theme. Its large font also appears in combat and because of the font style the text is reminiscent of the Kapow! Smash! messages from the old corny Batman tv series in the 80's. Its distracting and breaks the immersion. I suggest for a font change.

    HELP ME PLEASE!!!!!
    i completely cleared out my add on folder and just now downloaded all the files for this addon into the addon folder. when i log on to wow however, my interface is completely different and is all different than what it looks like in the screenies. if you can contact me as soon as possible that would be great. thanks

    I'll have to level up a hunter to check the hunger icon issue, as I'm not sure where that pops up.

    As for overlapping, are you using it on 1920x1080? I forgot to mention that I made it for that resolution primarily. I will be altering it for most popular resolutions shortly (today, most likely).

    A screenshot would be nice, for clarity if you don't mind.

    The font you're talking about is mik's battle text, I have the font changed on mine, I'll look into fixing that issue now as well.

    As for the zone change font, its all blizzard, I'm not sure if that can be changed but I'll look into it. For the battle text, type /msbt, and change the profile to default, that should fix it for combat.

    Did you take the WTF folder, go in there and change the name of
    "YOURACCOUNT"
    "Yourserver"
    "Yourcharacter"
    to the correct acct-server-char names? That's the only way to retain my settings. Theoretically you should replace your config.wtf file as well. let me know if the problem stems from something else.
