What is Atlasloot

AtlasLoot Enhanced is an UI mod allowing for loot tables of bosses to be browsed whenever needed within the game.

Features

Dressing Room: Control-click items to show them in the Dressing Room.
Price Preview: See the prices for token items like PvP rewards.
Filter: Filter loot tables based on your class or set up your filter manually (NYI).
Instance Loot: All instance loot from every Dungeon (Normal and Heroic) and Raid.
Faction and PvP rewards.
Collection Items: Armor Sets (Dungeon, Tier and Crafted), Mounts, Companians, Tabards, Legendary items and more.
Season and World Events: Skettis, Abyssal Council, Ethereum Prison, Feast of Winter Veil, Hallow's End, Brewfest, etc.
Wishlist (NYI): Alt-click on any item to add it to the wishlist, alt-clicking on an item in the wishlist deletes it. There are buttons added to the Atlas panel and the loot browser to open the wishlist.
Partial Searching (NYI): Allows searching the whole AtlasLoot database for an item where you only know part of the name.
Quicklooks (NYI): Bind up to ten loot tables to 'Quicklook' buttons, allowing you to jump to them with only one click.

Slash Commands

'/al' or '/atlasloot' by itself brings up the loot browser.
'/atlasloot options' brings up the options menu.
'/atlasloot reset' resets the last viewed loot table (fixes disconnects when opening AtlasLoot) and moves all draggable frames back to the middle of the screen.
'/atlasloot mmb' toggles the minimap button on / off.
'/atlasloot togglebg' toggles background pictures on / off.
'/atlasloot wishlist' opens the Wishlist frame. (NYI)

History

AtlasLoot was originally created by Pernicius as a plugin for Atlas and contained a handful of raid loot tables to browse. Unfortunately, Pernicius was unable to maintain the mod, so Daviesh took over and renamed it to AtlasLoot Enhanced to provide a distinction between the two versions. Since that time, AtlasLoot has grown to cover every loot table for every boss, every item set, PvP Items and items for every reputation faction. In January 2010 Hegarol took over the project from Daviesh. Finally, in 2014/2015 Lag completely rewrote the entire addon for AtlasLoot v8.

Try the following:

1. Delete all the AtlasLoot files (even the WTF ones). Note that this will unfortunately delete your wishlists.
2. Log in to WoW.
3. Completely log out.
4. Manually reinstall AtlasLoot.
5. Log in with only AtlasLoot enabled.
6. Hope it works

There are two behaviors of the AtlasLoot window. 1. Just open the AtlasLoot window (and nothing more), search for a dungeon, add an item to your wishlist (with alt + left click). At this point, you'll see a message in the "chat window" informing you that the item has been added to your wishlist. This behaviour is normal since the wishlist window is hidden. No problem here. 2. Open both the AtlasLoot and the Wishlist windows, search for a dungeon, then again, add an item to your wishlist. You'll see the message in the chat window but nothing will happen in the wishlist yet. At this moment, you have to click on the large "Wish List" button (next to the "close" button) to refresh the wishlist window, and really notice that your item has been added. I see. I have to check how much of a coding hassle this is. If its a small thing we will certainly do it. Thanks for that suggestion.

No matter what I do, whether it be setting up a profile and having other characters use that same profile, wiping all profiles and making a new one from scratch, or nuking all saved variables for atlasloot (and atlas), I can't get Atlasloot (or Atlas) to retain the settings I chose. The addon appears to be reading the preferences correctly and displays them as I had checked (or unchecked) them in the correct panes, but it isn't obeying the preferences. For instance, I'll have "Comparison TT" checked and I have to uncheck it and recheck it to get it to work. I also, upon every login, have to reset both the alpha (I prefer it at 0.8) and the position of the main window, as it always appears partially hidden underneath my bottom action bars. It doesn't seem to matter what I do, but Atlas/Atlasloot just will not retain their respective settings. Are these two addons conflicting with each other? They use what seems to be nearly identical preference settings, and it seems like one always overrides the other. I like Atlas because it contains the outdoor raid data and other things that Atlasloot does not, as well as the dungeon maps, but I like Atlasloot for its easy navigation and wishlists. Do I need to go "one or the other" and choose between these two addons?
