hi d87, how are you this year, its been awhile, I recently came back to wow, still using your lovely addon as Ive been using it since released when it was called injection, anyhow recently something been annoying me and I don't know how to fix it in the config.

I have my grid positioned on the left, and whenever I open or talk to any npc that opens up a panel or something type of window that I want to buy from, the grid is above that window, ill provide a photo for you to see, it sometimes be placed on top of a button that I can't read, I don't think this is how it is intended to be, I think it should be beneath and below when I open a panel right? look.

Lua Code:
  1. local DebuffTypeColor = DebuffTypeColor
  2. local helpful_color = { r = 0, g = 1, b = 0}
  3. local function MySetJob_DebuffIcon(self, job)
  4.     SetJob_Icon(self, job)
  5.     local color = job.color
  6.     if color then
  7.         self.debuffTypeTexture:SetVertexColor(color[1], color[2], color[3], color[4] or 0.6)
  8.     else
  9.         local debuffType = job.debuffType
  10.         if debuffType == "Helpful" then
  11.             color = helpful_color
  12.         else
  13.             color = debuffType and DebuffTypeColor[debuffType] or DebuffTypeColor["none"]
  14.         end
  15.         self.debuffTypeTexture:SetVertexColor(color.r, color.g, color.b, 0.6)
  16.     end
  17.
  18.     if job.isBossAura then
  19.         self:SetScale(1.4)
  20.     else
  21.         self:SetScale(1)
  22.     end
  23. end
  24.
  25. self.dicon1.SetJob = MySetJob_DebuffIcon
  26. self.dicon2.SetJob = MySetJob_DebuffIcon
  27. self.dicon3.SetJob = MySetJob_DebuffIcon

you'll have to override this whole function in your custom skin

Actually i think i should highlight it in some other way rather than increased size, like a bright border or something. because debuff icons are already taking quite a lot of space
it's really a good idea, but i duno how it will play in real play, you can make option to set to one or the other to player preference maybe? also can i add these lines into my userconfig by themself ? cuz i put this in the userconfig and size didnt change

hi d87, sorry for bothering you, but can I ask which lines exactly I need to add to my own userconfig to control the sizes of these two debuffs, big and small?

Hey, I'm testing this again today, and I think its the same -.- the debuffs are the same size and nothing is bigger, im doing LFR again.

but maybe my userconfig is interfering I have alot of changes, but not sure, if you want i can post my personal userconfig that i like to use.

p.s I just noticed something, a boss debuff got larger, but when something gets larger the other debuffs get larger aswell, so that what I noticed on furnace fight

Sorry, there was a bug. It probably will work now (same link), but i still haven't tried it myself.
In any case, i'll definitely check back on this feature when i'll start playing again.

Thanks, I don't want to sound ungrateful, as I really am, but what exactly was changed in this edit, is it just an increase to the size of the three blizzard debuffs? I entered LFR to test it and it seemed the same to me but a bit larger.

But what I meant with my post is that, blizzard seem to have two types of debuffs, one small (less important debuffs) and one bigger (more important debuffs) which is nice to have a more important debuffs larger slightly

try this, boss auras should be bigger now and also include bossbuffs. tho i'm not sure that is a good solution, because space is an issue already

and no, it's impossible to just switch to blizzzard's stuff

Is this possible?

To use aptechka for everything, but removing my class indicators & buff/debuff things, but then enable the default blizzard buff/debuff style into the named frames from aptechka. does this make sense? I'm trerrible in English, but what I'm trying to say is.

The default blizzard raidframes have some new special feature in their buff/debuff style in a way that sometimes there are few buffs or debuffs showing in larger fashion than other debuff/buffs, most of the times the bigger debuff are important and to the left of frame, then you can see a normal sized debuffs, then you also see your healing buffs on the target while ignoring the raid buffs etc. I don't know how blizzard implement this but most of the time a very important boss debuff will be larger than the others "Fixate for example"

I wish to be able to use aptechka, but using this style of buff/debuff instead of the old style indicators that first came with this mod, even tho its nice, but I know how to disable them, but them how can I enable the blizzard buff/debuff to the aptechka targets/frames.

Sorry for the long msg, I'm just trying to explain

also I love how the resurrect works, specially to see that its being casted on a specific frame then I can see that its pending, which tells me even before it pended that someone already is casting a resurrect on that dead person which is nice, but when Mass-res happen I don't see the cast being casted on those that don't have debuff, also I don't see the pending on them, only for the mass-res, by the way it used to show before until you changed it, but I liked the old one better where I can clearly see who has it casted on
Regarding Massres, that was a change in LibResInfo, it no longer provides info about massres targets, only that it's being casted, I don't know what was the reason for the change

I remember about the arrow feature, I actually intended to add it just before wod, but at the time LibMapData was causing errors, so i had to wait and then one thing led to another, i was mainly playing tanks, so in the end i didn't... tbh, i'm not excited about 6.2 for some reason, but surely it'll continue to work.
