TomTom is your personal navigation assistant in World of Warcraft. This addon is very simple, but provides a nice set of functionality. Thanks to Esamynn for Astrolabe, which does the bulk of the work in this addon.
TomTom offers the following major features:
/way 14.78 23.90
/way Nagrand 45 50
/way 14.78 23.90 This is a waypoint!
/way reset all
/way reset Nagrand
/wayb Here
/wayback
/cway
/closestway

Does it still require you to have the tracker sorted by proximity in order to update reasonably quickly?

Unless I implement polling, yes.

Gah, back to square one! I thought I'd managed to get this working by clearing the waypoints profile, and resetting to default but alas it seems I was premature.
Logged in to my scrubby lil' monk last night, and the arrows failed to move on quest acceptance and such. Under the POI integration part, I only have the lower of the two options ticked, to allow automatic placement of waypoints? really starting to get stumped now |

ok.
I've removed the addon, and also Archy as that uses a lot of tomtom integration. Cleared the .lua settings files from both, re-installed only Tomtom. I then ticked only the option to allow tomtom to automatically place the closest waypoint and it still didn't work. I did nothing else after logging in, simply went to the nearest NPC offering a quest and accepted. Going to try again tonight with ONLY tomtom enabled to see if something is killing the feed. Thanks for the help so far! |

Right, so last night I stripped everything out. Created a brand new toon with only Tomtom and Statblock running. The LDB feed arrow refused to move until I enabled the main "crazy Arrow" and reset the waypoints profile.
Wierd thing is, the main crazy arrow was actually working and pointing the way, but the LDB feed refused to move until i reset the profile. Odd. |

Well if that's the case, I can fix that, that would be easy.. I was more concerned about the automatic quest POIs not working.

Hi Cladhaire,
just some reporting, after testing for a few days. My previous entry about having the main arrow active and clearing the waypoint profile appears to have corrected this issue, it now works perfectly at login as long as I don't change anything! I will test later on tonight with the main arrow disabled, and will report if the failure re-occurs. Thanks for the help |

Just reporting and issue
I have quite a lot of waypoints on my world map at this point (one for each and every rare spawn in pandaria) and as I'm hunting them down im periodically switching between the small world map and large world map. I go into the full screen world map to see more clearly where the waypoints are, and the moment I go back to the smaller world map, all the tool tips when i mouseover the waypoints show up behind the world map, thus I can't see them. I know it's showing up behind the world map because I have the transparency turned up a bit. It doesn't stop doing this until I /reload. Solid addon though. Thanks. |

I can try to look into this, but if it fixes it after a /reload it will probably take me some time to even try and trigger it. Either way I won't be able to look at it until the end of the month at the earliest =/

Corpse errors
v. 50200-1.0.2
As of today's reset i'm getting a ton of errors and TomTom is one of them with corpse errors after I died and even after I ressed. I can't copy the corpse errors because they are coming in too fast for Bugsack. I got to 938 and cleared the sack but then they just start counting up again. Attempts to index profile nil at 112. I have to shut down TomTom because my bugsack won't stop yelling Fatality.

I cannot reproduce this in any way. Can you please provide a more clear description. Where precisely are you dying?? I don't have access to all game areas, so anything that is reproducable at a lower level is something I can work with.
