    In 3.3.5, chat in chat channels became "sticky" i.e. pressing enter again after sending a message to a channel would bring up that channel for further chat.

    This addon is a simple, light-weight fix for anyone who would prefer their channels to be non-sticky.


    NonstickyWhispers does the same thing for whispers. Check it out if you don't like that being sticky, either!

    Well, it could be, depending on the person.
    But note that the scripts you quoted don't affect the stickiness of channels, so they don't work for this specific case.
    Also note that those commands don't change the stickiness permanently, so they have to be run each time the UI is loaded (each login / manual reload of the UI)

    The reason for these addons is pretty much 2-fold:
    1) To run these commands automatically for anyone who doesn't like hitting a macro with those commands in it each time they log in / reload their UI.
    2) Provide general visibility to the community for anyone who hasn't seen the script to unsticky these chatTypes.
