    This addon restores the old quest-text fading. They removed the Instant Quest Text option in the 4.0.1. patch, while many people like to be forced to read the quest text, especially with a new expansion and new lore coming out!

    Options:
    - Adjust fading speed
    - Automatically disable text fading in dungeons
    - Automatically disable text fading for daily quests

    • Type /qff to open the options.
    • Type /qff toggle to toggle fading.

    0.6 Should properly apply fading speed now. Added options to disable in dungeons and for daily quests.
    0.5 Added missing AceGUI
    0.4 Rewrite using Ace. Added config table and option to change fading speed.
    0.3 Fixed the initial state: it will now enable quest text fading by default.
    0.2 State is now saved between sessions and per character.
    0.1 Initial release

    v0.6 should allow you to do just that. It can also disable text fading in dungeons now, so you can grab your quests before the hunter pulls the first boss and all its trash in one awesome move.

    Sorry for not responding I think what you saw is that it doesn't enable fading by default. I'd probably call this a feature.. yeah.
