WIM (WoW Instant Messenger) 

lol... so that's what the heck that was. I was going nuts last night wondering why the hell my computer was all of a sudden starting to dial a modem in the middle of flying between flight points considering I haven't owned, nor has my computer ever had, a modem installed in it. Good one, confused the ever living bejebus out of me.

Is that why I was hearing the raid alert sound all the time? lol--thought it was another add-on, so turned off about 5 of them. Didn't stop so I quit playing I was wondering who was gonna "get me" yesterday, now I know.

I know how hard you guys work on these mods, so made a donation today. Wish I could donate to all of you, but sadly, my money tree died in the last snow storm!

ZOMG, it was WIM doing that????? My roommates and I were calling Verizon and asking the f'in neighbors. You had us going batty... I'm pissed and laughing my rear off. GOOD ONE!!!

Took me nearly the whole day to figure out it was your addon (which I had started using the day before for the first time) that had me thinking my computer was infected with malware. I only figured it out when I tried using your addon on my Mac and the same sounds occurred.

I lost half a day of leveling my new main because I was running a zillion different anti-malware products and I am NOT amused. Jokes are great, but not when it makes people think they've got keyloggers or other malware on their computers - especially with all the conflickr worm crap in the news.

Next year, pick another way to mess with your victims...um....users - although there will likely be fewer to trick since some of us no longer trust you or your addons.

Same here. I spent 5 hours running boot scans on all my systems becasue of this & I was/am in no way amused by it.

I spent 3 hours trying to figure out what was going on. Totally a WTFPAWNed. Was totally relieved to see I had been pranked. I laughed it was great. It was the one and only one played on me for April Fool's.

So sad that others are way to up tight and serious (BTW no one was killed only their egos - QQ'ers keep ur flames to ur self u expressed ur opinion and now i get to express mine), but then again maybe they don't practice good security to begin with and therefore you spooked them. I say they needed it. PEACE

only took me a few min to figure out that it was this addon doing it, but at first i was like WTF?!

I did a binary search to find out it was WIM, which meant a good 20 minutes disabling addons reloading my UI over and over since it was just about the last in the list I'm over it now though.

I was wondering what the hell that was. Good stuff

I'm not completely sure what the GM issue is. For obvious reasons I spent April 1st talking to a few GM's I used WIM without a problem. This is going to need some attention I agree but maybe more info please. Even if you disable all addons except for WIM and open up a bogus ticket just to see if it works correctly.

I would appreciate your time in this matter.

Got those errors with the new patch.

The current version of RecipeRadar ships with the current version of Astrolabe, which has solved my problems with both WIM and SimpleCoordinates

I know it's a day late for the US community, but the patch came a week sooner than I had thought. Anyway, its up now.

WIM 3.1 has a new feature which everyone has been asking for for a long time now... CHAT SUPPORT. By default chat is disabled so if you want to use it, make sure you go into WIM's options (/wim) and enable what you want handled. You will also note that the options have been rearranged a little. This is because Whispers and Chat have their own option sets. For example, each have their own behavior rules, sounds, filters and history options. I tried to add as many options as I can conceive in order to have them function the way you'd want them to. Please note, although working, it is still lacking some features (such as intercept slash commands) and a few other which I did not have time to implement yet. I am expecting a lot of feedback on the chat functionality as it is new and we all know we can't please everyone in one shot.

* Rearranged WIM's options. Sounds & History are now in category Whispers.
* Revised BBCode export to avoid nested color tags. Thank you Stewart.
* Added credits menu to options. A lot of people deserve a big thanks.

* New Chat Engine! Disabled by default. See WIM's Options (/wim).
