The Bokenspeil

Intro
A side project of mine the Bokenspeil is designed to be the first, truly "musical" addon.

The addon itself is a musical piano, but its not a "real" piano. I am no musician and have only worked with what i could. This is based off a small mini piano like program my friend showed me online. Once again im not a musician but i hope any of the musically inclined atleast find it nice! Oh but its more than just a piano to fool around with yourself, check out the features.

Info
Slash Commands:
/bokenspeil or bspeil or boks
/bspeil - open piano
/bspeil play - immediately play out your masterpiece
/bspeil config - open up your piano with options shown

Other info:
Minimap button with various ways to open piano.
Playing the piano DISABLES your keyboard for use, this renders you UNABLE to use it for other functions. However
Pressing enter will DISABLE the piano and allow you to walk and use your keyboard again
Entering combat will DISABLE the keyboard so you wont die during use.
All options are defaulted OFF on login to not wake your character up to a beautiful rendition of "Nails on a chalkboard"

- All of the code, and most of the graphics were produced by me. There not perfect but i wanted to give a slightly more realistic experience.

But.. have you tried looking at http://www.freesound.org/? You might find some usable sound clips there, or you could probably request some.

I was planning on allowing future updates to modify keys, if you really want to it would be very simple for you to open up the Bokenspeil.lua file and change the note keys.
It should say something like if ( key == "Q" ) then
so just change that to whatever key you want.

Currently im in the stage of developing so you can record your songs, play them back later, and let your friends, guildies, etc download them. However i've been swamped with work and school comes first so sorry if i don't get everything out to soon.

I would love to add different instruments, but im no musician and have only worked with what i could.

Ah true, my misspelling of it glochenspeil was my problem :P Once i finish this update up nicely i will probably fix that error. Its an easy enough problem to fix :P
Meanwhile keep in mind the command /boks also works.
Once again thanks for downloading, spread the word and stay tuned for the next update! Will support song recording and possibly downloading of guildmates/friends/group members songs.

Glockenspiel. Spiel in German is written with ie, not ei. Makes it hard to type the command /bspeil correctly...

Thanks for the praise. Spread the word and stayed tuned for the next update! You'll be able to record your songs and possibly ( if I can work it out ) access "btunes" where you can download other peoples songs! Downloading other peoples song will be a bit difficult but hopefully I'll work it out
