Afterlife Crowd Control

Whats this addon do?
Afterlife Crowd Control is a World of Warcraft addon designed to monitor your crowd controls in and outside a party, and your party/raid members assigned target crowd controls. This is an invaluable addon for raid leaders and tanks who need to keep track of the many possible crowd control targets in a party or raid, for example, as a tank you can see which target will expire first allowing you to be there ready to pick the target up.

Features

List all the controlled targets in your party or raid, including the person who controlled the target.
3D target frame for your own personal crowd control including time remaining.
Move/resiz Timer bars showing party/raid controlled targets and their durations.
Visual / Audio warnings when your personal crowd controlled target breaks.
Batman style popup when your target breaks.
Announce to your party or raid when your you apply and renew your crowd controls, and when your target breaks.
Announce to your party or raid the last 15 seconds remaining on your controlled target.
Announce when you interrupt a cast.
Diminish Returns support for PvP and Arena
Tank helpers such as automatically removing Salvation - this feature is activated by typing /afterlife tank from the chat window.

Hunters - please note
For hunters, target the mob you intend to trap before placing down/throwing your trap - this will assign your 3D target. If you do not select your target first before using the trap then you will not see the 3D target frame, but the timers will perform normally and any break alerts will work as normal. Instructions
For options, type /afterlife in game

Fixed a bug when a spell misses, the raid target on the mob was not correctly identified.

Is there some way to stop it from popping up messages on my screen such as previous target selected and the crowd control break messages? While I don't really mind sap will break in 10-5 popped up in big letters on my screen, it would be nice to be able to filter it off. However, for me at least, the previous target selected message is simply grating.

This was the feature that drew me to trying out the addon too.

At the time of first developing the addon those functions were available to the addon authors. However, the 3d model survived simply through feedback from users of the original who wanted it to stay.. on that note I did put in an option to turn it off.

The only way of doing targetting would be through joint macro / addon commands which i'll look at. Those functions I wrote about in my last post are not available to addons.. but can be used in macros so it may be possible to interact with the addon through a macro but i'll look into this.

Understood and appreciated. It just to ME seems a little pointless to waste the screen real estate using the 3D model if you can't click on it to re-target the mob. I don't particularly need to see what the mob looks like since there are probably multiples of the same mob on my screen (hence the reason for a sheep in the first place). a lot of the targetting functions available to addons previously are now protected by blizzard to prevent "BOT" addons. I'll see what I can do but a lot of the things id like to do are prevented because of Blizzards restrictions sadly.

im busy working on an update to bring the addon up to date. Addon work has been slow because of levelling to 80, i'll get a update out as soon as possible.
