If I got Conjure Water(Rank 7) on my bars, will the Conjure Water(Rank 8) on my spell book will be grayed out?

Nope! It checks everything based on spell IDs, so it should know the difference between spell ranks as well as work with any language.

I like the idea behind this. Good thinking!

One thing I would like to boldly suggest, though, is a checkbox in the spellbook to toggle the greying out on and off.

I intend to add a checkbox in a future update. To be honest this was a really quick-and-dirty version that I just wanted to get out and see what people think, I don't consider it to be very polished.

This is great for finding low rank spells in bars. I have dual talents on my paladin and when I learn a spell, it doesn't get updated to latest rank on the offspec spell bar. This addon helped me a lot to solve that problem...

Thanks a lot for this. It helped a tons, there where quite a few ability's that I had 2 ranks lower.

And here I thought the game would auto-update the ranks...

Does this work with custom action bars, ie Macaroon, Dominos etc.?

It automatically updates only the bars of the spec you're in when you train the new rank. Can be mighty confusing.

Been experiencing the same error as dmbardal, in the same situation (opening the spellbook). It only seems to happen on some of my characters, for some reason (been experiencing it constantly on my recently created Priest, but it doesn't happen on my level 33 Paladin).

Same problem here, I get this every time I open my spellbook although the addon seems to work fine.

It seems like the error happens when the currently displayed spellbook page hasn't got every spell-slot filled with something or other (trying to get spell info about spells that aren't there, because the spellbook slot is empty).

@ricks322 You are using an old version of the mod. That error was fixed with v0.2
