InviteHelper (Brewfest Edition - Mount Farming)

InviteHelper is an addon which allows you to build a que of people by whispering them and getting replies of !yes or !no. You can then invite them in sequence.

Usage: To use this addon build up a group of 4 people. 1 healer, 1 tank, 1 warlock and 1 random DPS. Then do a /who 65-69. Type in /ih w to whisper all the people on the list. When you get replies of !yes their names get added to the list. Type /ih i to invite the 1st person on the list. Summon them to the boss and use their summon. Give them their trinket and type /ih n to invite the next person. Repeat this pattern until you get your brewfest mounts. Happy hunting!

Alternative usage: You could have a group of 1 tank and 1 healer. Do a /who mage then /ih w. /who hunter then /ih w. etc... this will build up a list of dps. all you do then is invite them 3 at a time and kill the boss 3 times. This will require editing the different messages though. (see below)

Commands:

/ih m - Brings up the GUI. The rest of the commands can be run from there or by using the slash commands below

/ih w - Whispers everyone on the /who list (please do a /who beforehand.)
/ih i - Invites the 1st person on the list
/ih n - Kicks the 1st person on the list, invites the 2nd person and moves everyone up a place in the list
/ih r - Reports the list to the party
/ih l - Reports the list to you
/ih c - clears the list

NOTE: THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN /IN I AND /IN N
eg: list of:
#1 = player 1
#2 = player 2
#3 = player 3
#4 = player 4

list is now:
#1 = player 1
#2 = player 2
#3 = player 3
#4 = player 4

/in n
kicks player 1
invites player 2
moves everyone in the list up 1 place
ist is now:
#1 = player 2

well it is good to know there are at least some people who are up front and honest about their intentions. Thansk for the response as well. I hope you had better luck than I did getting you rmount. 2 toons doing 5 a day for the entire length of brewfest and I only saw one kodo.

I have never used master looter and have always allowed everyone a chance to roll on any loot that dropped if they wanted it (including mounts) and when making this addon i aimed at providing the same thing but on a wider and more personal scale. Whispering people who would not usually get to do the boss informing them that you want to use their summon and in return they would get a free trinket. If your comment is in response to the alternate use i stated where you whisper level 70's i expect people would inform them that they would only get 3 turns on the boss.

I do not promote spamming people constantly aswell. If you try to whisper anyone more than 2 times you will not whisper them again until you clear the database.

I feel sorry for you that you were cheated out of your summon and you are right to be angry at them for not informing you. But this addon was designed as a means to "beat the system" and allow more people who are farming for the mount have a better chance to get it.

If you have any suggestions on how i could make the addon better, even by imposing restrictions on what people can do i would be very interested in hearing them.

I've had this done to me, and going into a group, expecting to do 5 summons, but only doing your own and one other before being given the attack power trinket on my warlock (using master loot) and removed from group, then being laughed at (yes that's you Crimson Eclipse guild on Cho'gall) only made me sit in org for the next 2 hours and make sure every time they advertised that they were looking for 2 dps for brewmaster (must have summon) I spammed that they would only cheat you out of your summons. this type of addon only goes to show what is wrong with the WoW community. Shame on you.
