Update - Version 3.0 - This is pretty much a ToC change for WotLk. If any bugs occur, please throw up a comment and I'll address it ASAP,

Description :
Ever felt like expressing something in the form of a loud, flashing alarm ? Do raidwarnings just not cut it? Then this addon is for you. InstanceAlarm is an alarm system that broadcasts (to your entire party or raid if you wish) a message of your choosing as well as making their screen flash red and an alarm sound (see picture for example).
How does it work. :
Solo Use - InstanceAlarm is quite simple to set up and use. To begin, simply type '/ia show' to bring up the main window. If you pull down (or drag down as the case may be) the alarm handle, your screen will periodically flash red as well as convey the default message ' Please Exit The Instance' (an example wipe warning). Simply pull the handle back up and the alarm stops. To put in your own custom message type '/ia message'. You will then me prompted with a popup asking you for your new message. Type in whatever you wish to be your personal message and press 'OK'. Try restarting the alarm now and you should see your custom message flash along with the red screen.
In a Group Setting - Its worth mentioning first that InstanceAlarm will only broadcast to other group members with this addon also installed. You have to also be the group leader to broadcast the alarm to your group. If your the leader and you pull the alarm, all others in your group with this addon will see YOUR custom message (set by typing '/ia message') as their alarm flashes.
** Note : IF your group leader is spamming / annoying you by pulling the alarm too often, simply use the slash command '/ia toggle' to disable your alarm for the rest of the game session.
Media Information :
The alarm sound is from www.sounddogs.com and is within their terms of use to use this sound in this addon.
The alarm handle graphic was created by myself using Paint.
** Note : If your interested in replacing the alarm sound with one of your own, name your sound file ' Alarm.mp3 ' and replace the default one in Instance Alarm's folder with yours. The file must be an MP3.
Slash Commands :
For quick reference, here is a list of all the slash commands (NOTE - typing '/ia' or '/instancealarm' and pressing enter will also remind you of these commands.) :
- /ia show - shows the main frame
- /ia hide - hides the main frame
- /ia reset - resets the main frame's position
- /ia message - sets your personal alarm message
- /ia on|off - turns the alarm on or off (same as putting the handle in the up or down position)
- /ia toggle - enables or disable instance alarm from sounding or showing up automatically when your the leader
- /ia check - reports all of the names of people in your group using InstanceAlarm (acts as a version check as well)
Thanks for looking and I hope you enjoy this addon
