Description

Rune-It-All adds more features and functionality to the default rune frame while still using the Blizzard code.
The goal of Rune-It-All is to be simple yet rich. I hope Rune-It-All provides you with the features you are looking for while maintaining a simple, unobtrusive, and painless feel.

Rune-It-All does the following:

* Allows you to scale the size of the runes
* Allows you to change the transparency in and out of combat
* Allows you to unlock and lock the runes so that you can move them around
* Has 5 unique layouts including: Vertical, Curved Up, Curved Down, Vertical Block, and Horizontal Block
* Has 7 unique art choices including: Beta Runes, DKI Runes, and Letter Runes, Japanese Runes, Orb Runes, Runica Runes, Beta-Enhanced Runes
* New! Allows you to move the runes individually
* New! Has custom cooldown text (includes several options along with it)
* New! Has option to show runes (when OOC - and useful when OOC alpha is less than 1) when you use a rune (e.g. Death and Decay OOC)
* New! Allows you to increase or decrease the spacing between runes ("padding") Note: only works for Vertical and Horizontal layouts
* New! Allows you to configure how the rune bar acts when you enter a Vehicle

If you are using Pitbull:
Config. > Modules > Hide Blizzard frames > UNCHECK "Rune bar"

If you are using Shadowed UF:

Howdy, folks.

I do sincerely apologize for the lack of updates and communication.

I have just updated the AddOn with the very minor fix, rectifying compatibility issues with Pet Battles. Thus, Rune-It-All is now compatible with the Mists of Pandaria expansion and latest patches. If you do run into additional issues, please let me know.

I haven't forgotten about the improvements I began to make this past summer; priorities are just not there at the moment, but I will do my best to have something to you within the next couple of weeks after the holidays have drawn down.

Okay -- quick update.

I've fixed the issue rather quickly, so I've gone ahead and begun work on a semi re-write of the code. The code is not only going to be better organized and easier to read, but should also provide a small performance boost and memory usage decrease.

Stay tuned. I should have an additional update by the end of the week.

Not sure if I will be implementing this. That would require a decent set of code to be added to the AddOn, and I believe there are already a handful of similar DK AddOns out there that do this already. I'll add some (smaller) features to Rune-it-All as requested, but I do want to maintain it's (rather) simplistic nature. I hope you understand

Not sure if this addon is still being maintained but I have a feature request
It would be great to add a prioritisation system similar to the one implemented in DKM. Basically, if I use 2 rows of runes, the ones rechargina automatically shift to the upper row.

Hmm... maybe I can add another call to the images at a certain time to update them... that may be not very efficient though, but I've already done that several times in my code.

I'll try that out soon

edit: at some point, I may re-write the AddOn to be more "efficient" so-to-speak, but it currently seems to be decent (do you agree?). I know the actual code may not look super pretty we'll see.

I would like to add that it seems that the Death Runes are being recognized by the AddOn.

It appears that the AddOn just simply doesn't check if those runes are Death or Blood when the images are loaded.

I just returned form Spring Break and now am back to duties of college (aka pretty darn busy!). I'll see how the week pans out and what time i can devote to testing.

I would just like to say that your AddOn is my favourite of all the rune monitors out there, with the perfect balance of function and form!

I've only had one real issue, when playing with a Frost spec.

The two left death runes will appear as blood runes if I do any of the following:
-Change the Rune Image
-Reload the UI in any way, shape or form (i.e. change map, enter BG, relog)

The only way to make them appear as Death Runes again is to activate a different spec and then activate Frost spec again.

Sorry for the extremely late follow-up. I did some quick coding with this and wasn't able to accomplish what I wanted.

In my past experiences with the spiral, I discovered that the spiral texture didn't look good on anything but the default runes. I realize that it could be nice to keep such a feature for the default runes, but I don't wish to spend additional time and effort on such a feature if I won't use it myself. I implemented the alpha and cooldown counts as a substitute that I personally enjoy more.
