ScaleEverything
ScaleEverything is now fixed (finally) for Wrath of the Lich King

How to Install ScaleEverything

You install this AddOn like any other, just unpack the downloaded zip into your /Interface/AddOns folder.

How to use ScaleEverything

This AddOn allows you to scale and drag frames around your screen. To add a frame to the AddOn list you can type

/se <framename>

into your Chat or even use the quickfinder with your mouse over the frame and type in

/se -hover

ScaleEverything will find and add the framename automaticly to access the GUI you can either use GameMenu > Interface > AddOns > ScaleEverything or by typing

/se -gui

into your Chat.

1. Keyfeature: Scaleing

The first keyfeature of this AddOn is the ability to scale enlisted frames with the slider on the main Interfaceoptionpage. You can even finetune the scaleing by using your mousehweel.

2. Keyfeature: Mousedragging

Second you can enable Mousedragging, you have to check the Unlock Checkbox and the corresponding frame will become marked red. Now you can drag it with your RightMouse button.

To reset the Position you have just to rightclick the Unlock Checkbox.

3. Keyfeature: Align-like grid

To improve the second Keyfeature you can use the slash command

/sea followed by a number

which represent the grid density. You can create a grid with spacing lines from 4 pixel to infinity pixel. To Hide the grid you just have to type in

/sea

again

4. keyfeature: fine tuneing

You can modify enlisted frames (and even fontstrings or textures) in the Advanced Page. You just have to know the frame you will modify by its name and press enter, now you can set the offsets by typing them into the edit boxes or change the scaleing by typing it in the scale box

If something went wrong ...
remove the Frame by clicking the minus button next to the Frameoptions

Is it possible to move the Raid Warning and Announcement locations? The places where big red or yellow text appears in the middle of the screen.

Is it possible to move hidden frames? I want to move the Achievement popup frame that popups when you get an achievement and the roll for loot frames aswell. Since they are hidden most of the times, could I add the frame name in the advanced menu and be able to move it around?

I hope that my implementation will suffice the need of removing a Frame from this Addon.

MoveAnything has severe issues with vehicles atm.

Anyone know if ScaleEverything works with Malygos and Flame Leviathan fights?

I just updated this mod and now it won't show up in the interface menu nor will any slash commands work. All my windows have been reset except for my player character frame which is mostly missing. :/ I tried deleting the addons folder and reinstalling but the same problem happened.

the find feature for the advanced tab will be implemented soon; meanwhile you can use

/se -hover (as described in the info text) to add the frame your mouse is hovering on to the List.

Broken on PTR?

I can't even open up the GUI on the PTR at the moment, gives me an error that says

Interface\AddOns\ScaleEverything\core.lua:304: attempt to call global 'InterfaceOptionsFrame_OpenToFrame' (a nil value)

When I try to load it up in the interface options under the addons tab it gives me a

Interface\AddOns\ScaleEverything\core.lua:119: CreateFrame(): Couldn't find inherited node "InterfaceOptionsSliderTemplate"

Really hoping there's an easy way for me to fix this, I even went through and temporarily renamed my WTF and loaded it up as the only addon, still gave me the exact same errors.

Not saving changes

Hey!

I just installed ScaleEverything and planned on using it for moving frames around. However my changes are not saved between sessions. Don't really know why tbh..
Think it's great, especially if this could be fixed
thx!

Just installed SE. It's great! There are a couple of issues i'm having on beta. First off, I just got this error after modifying UIParent and reloading the ui, on load. It made the addon disappear o.O:

Code:
Date: 2008-08-18 20:24:16
ID: 7
Error occured in: Global

  Swatter, v4.1.DEV
  tekKompare, v3.0.1.3
  UberQuest, vReborn Again 3.0 CC
  Xparky, v1.2.1
Second, before I broke it, when I add frames and sometimes after reloading my ui, the frames will be empty.

**Update** Deleting the saved variables seems to have made me be able to work with the frames again, including UIParent.

ah right, that was i missed to mention. You can use your mousewheel to finetune the slider

The extra bottom bars would scale with the MainMenuBar if they where children to the MainMenuBar. So it would not really possible, just setup the bars like the MainMenuBar, and it should work
