Anyone know how to recreate the Extra Action Button bar? Since the latest version it doesn't show up at all, which isn't as big of a deal on a max level character (cept for Brakenspore), but can be quite annoying on leveling ones.

Okay, I JUST figured it out. Somehow the issue was Masque. I didn't think a skinning addon could do something like this, but here we are...

Sorry to hear that Ion is giving you problems. One of the recent updates added the use of profiles which sounds like might be causing the issues. I'd recommend deleting the Ion.lua file in the main SavedVariables directory as that is what now stores the character bar info and may be what is causing the problems. Once you do this, with luck it should start working correctly again.

it is possible to remove the shadow from the cd under the buttons? or show the bar only infight?

Since the addon is called ion, I can't googling those questions :/

ok edit the last part lvl 90 cd is fixed with the last version ^-^

-.- but with the new version is another problem: mindflay didn't change the icon to insanity. this is really bad

Thanks Ray might thats could be right to be honest I have not played a warlock or hunter for years so never had to deal with it. Anyways thanks for the info and heres to hoping it gets fixed some day.

As far back as I can remember that's been an issue, dating back to at least the Macaroon days. Sometimes it works, significantly more often than not it doesn't and I've never figured out a workaround of any sort. I'm long used to just going into the spell book to change the autocast status of pet abilities. While it would be nice if it was fixed, the longevity of that issue leads me to believe it probably won't be.

Problem with pets abilities on petbar

On both my hunter and warlock I am not able to right click to turn off the autocast on abilities. All the options for it should be at default. I could swear I used to be able to do it back just after WoD launched but did not play my hunter or warlock much until recently. Also I have to say Thank You very much for updating this addon I have used it for years and love the way it works compared to other action bar addons and would have a hard time playing with out it.

Hi, I deleted the bar and recreated it and it still appears on all of my chars. I turned on the auto hide feature and it's gone. I haven't gotten a pet on my druid yet to see if it appears when I actually have a pet. Will let you know.

EDIT: I tried this on my warlock. If I hide the bar it only appears if I hover over it. As I said, the pet bar appears with all my characters on different accounts and it's always visible, pet or no pet.

I captured this image from my blood DK. The auto-hide option is not selected.

@kulbaen: I'll look into the hight CPU issue. It can probably be a bit CPU intensive due to constantly needing to check for cool downs and such. Also another cuplrate can be that it uses a bunch of ACE libraries, so if it is the first addon to load the libraries then any other addon that uses those libraries will show under ION in the usage monitor. You may want to try running the monitor with only ION enabled and see if it is still showing such a high CPU usage.

This used to be built into Trinity/Macaroon.

I appears that that functionality is not currently in Ion, but I shall add it to the list of additions that I would like to make.

As for another addon to do what you are asking, you may want to try King Kong Frame Fader. I haven't actually tried it out, but it appears that it may do what you want.

Great to hear from you, man! I hope things are going well for you and you get some fun time in soon. Still by far the best Addon I've used even since the Trinity days.
