TradeTrak grew out of the popularity of my crafterstome.com reference web site, which provides more extensive web-based recipe lists and filtering options for tradeskill items. This addon is 100% original work and provides certain types of data only maintained on the Crafter's Tome web site.
This version now includes all known tradeskill data through Patch 4.2.

It would also be very helpfull if the list had more info (quest) for egsample, witch quest and where? If I have to look it up on wowhead kinda defeats the purpose of having the addon.

nice addon, doesn't fit with what I was expecting but still usable.
As for what I was looking for, fields labeled "level range" made me think that it would sort by required level of completed item and not the Skill Range needed to make the recipe. |

More About TradeTrak
This mod is designed for use by followers of the Crafters Tome web site, it's not meant to be competitive with other add-ons in terms of features or functionality. Tradetrak does not use keyboard short-cuts, mini-map buttons or any tie-ins with other mods. It uses a simple icon to launch which can be moved anywhere on the screen.
Zidomo has posted on both our download sites, complaining about the lag issue. Our add-on is working as intended, we prefer to utilize Blizzard's live data for accuracy. If waiting for item data to load after a server reset causes a problem for you, then you should probably consider using a different add-on. Also, anyone who requires assistance with TradeTrak should visit our website (crafterstome.com) to contact us. One major difference: TradeTrak had/has the annoying habit of querying the server for every single recipe in its database every time you open its frame and/or you search for a recipe. It does this consistently. Which causes severe lag; increasingly severe the slower your computer is. Its poor behavior. It doesn't look like this behavior has changed in the latest v1.04; it still uses the same database format.
TradeskillInfo does not have this problem as it does not do that, so its likely a better option. At least if you don't like to lag out every time you are looking up a recipe link. For further info, check out my comments and the author reply in the Curse comments thread from last December (got a reply 5 months later).

Thanks for the kind comments. Version 1.03 was just posted, which contains recipe updates (including gems) through patch 3.1.2.
omeglidan, we definitely don't have a mini-map button, and I couldn't find any reference to such in our help file. I'll see about supporting larger page sizes in upcoming version. |

Please keep this addon updated, as I just found it and am now crying on your feet in happiness lmao ^^I am always having to research who gives what recipe where, and what I'm missing. I use recipe radar (hopefully this doesn't clash :/) but I really tend to need to actually search, because sometimes I don't want certain recipes or I am looking for a certain one etc. What can I say, I love professions lol. Thank you so much for this, I can't wait to try

Nice work
Really impressive addon. I have a few suggestions:
1. Can you please add a longer list view, as it is I can only view 10 items per page but it would be great to either have a larger more customizable view or a scroll bar. 2. I don't know if it's there and I just can't find it but for JC can you add gems? 3. I think the help menu mentions a minimap button but it doesn't show up if it's there. 4. It's a bit of a resource hog. Takes a few seconds to start up and a few seconds when switching professions. Keep up the great work. |

I might add this in my UI, if it gets with a option to add info in the tooltip (if i hover over Linen Cloth for example, it says where it's used in).

I'm loving the info like factions and drop for the recipe. But they're one thing which make that I'm not using you're addon. The ability to link the recipe. Otherwise, good job. |
