A sample board.
DrawingBoard
This is a point-and-click interface for managing healing or other assignments.
I developed it to handle healing assignments, but it is much more flexible than that.

I hope I got the usability right, but just in case: =)

How to use:
Open the board using /db.
Move players from your raid or custom assignments onto the drawing board. Then attach other players or custom frames to them.
Broadcasting a board currently takes the form

Quote:
Title
Prefix <assignment>: <assignee1>,<assignee1>, ...
....
Title, prefix and channel to broadcast are set in the board options. Setting no channel is for testing purposes.

new in 0.5: Boards are saved between sessions.
new in 0.6: You can share your board with all users of DB in your Raid. Modifications anyone makes are shared with everybody as well!

Please test! =)

Hi!

I rewrote most of the code to allow boards to be saved during sessions. Raidmembers are now updated when they enter/leave the raid too.

Since these were major changes, there might be bugs in there, so please report them =)

You can use ArtPad for that

Yay, comments =)

Hi!

I am always interested in input. =)

Soon (TM) DrawingBoard will automatically watch for raid members and display their buttons without having to delete the board. I am working on that.

A kind of sync feature between multiple DB installations in the raid seems much more complicated... I'll think about it, but do not expect such a feature soon. Or at all. =)

Hard to call it a bug, but every time someone new joins my raid, I have reload UI or to start a new board. Any way to change this so people are added automaticly when joining raid?

Looks very promising.

If the whole raid has the addon, will they see the drawing board itself? For positioning, I mean?

Gonna try it out and give input if you're interested

This is a stellar idea for an addon. It's a shame my guild has stopped raiding, else Id test it out for you. Don't give up on it, there are many that will benefit from a visual group tool like this, like myself.

Good luck man.
