About PortMe:
So you've made a portal for the guy who gave you 3 gold. He went through, and now it is just sitting there, useless. Only one player went through and you got more than enough money to cover the reagents. So why not open it to the public?

PortMe is an addon designed for portal invite management. It responds to the phrase 'port me' in various channels.
If there is a portal active that has already been paid for, it will notify nearby players that they may use it. When they say 'port me', it will notify them of the entrance, exit, and duration until the portal expires. It will also invite them to a group.
If there is no active portal, it will tell them your location.
If you are already in a group, and cannot invite, It will notify them that no portals are available at this time.
Current Features:
  • Notify's nearby players after a successful portal spawn
  • Notify's Pary/Raid members of exact portal location (including coordinates if available)
  • Invites players who whisper the trigger word while the portal is open
  • Pings Minimap upon portal creation
  • Will not advertise or invite if you are not capable of inviting
  • Customizable outgoing messages

  • /PortMe (opens the options panel)

Patch 3.2 PortMe Changes (NOT READY)
The next update for this addon will be released upon 3.2 patch day.

Current Changes:
  • No changes have been made yet.

Changes in development:
  • Verify Options Panel works correctly
    • Enable/Disable
    • Always allow invite
    • Convert to raid
    • Announcement filtering
    • Portal closing announcement
  • Update Screenshots for download page

Known Bug in Version 3.1.1.11 (5/3/09)
Well it looks like I managed to break with this update.
There is currently an issue with loading the saved variables that will cause PortMe to trigger off of any whisper or /say event.
I will post an update shortly.

Next version
I rewrote most of the code in this add-on.
The next version Does have customizable phrases.

You will be able to change:
* The invite trigger
* The "Portal Spawned" /s message
* The "Portal Spawned" group message
* The responce to portal requests when you are able to invite them
* The responce to portal requests when you are not able to invite them

Unfortunately there is still no interface, but the slash commands are very capable.

This version will be released on patch day, 3.1

Current Issues
* This addon works fine. If it is the only instance of the addon running on the realm
* currently responds to to many triggers, which quickly floods chat and turns into spam
