Diablo 3 dynamic Orbs   Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
BEWARE: If you are updating from version 1.1 or lower to 1.2 or higher, you HAVE to delete the old folders! (Diablo3Orbs, Diablo3HealthFrame, rFader, rTextures)

Hawt Stuff:
- should support death knights and runic power as of 1.21b. No rune display yet, I recommend RuneMover until then.

These are the Diablo 3 Orbs, taken from Roth UI v080722, with some changes.
The original mod is available here: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info9175
Try it!

-Strata of frames changed to prevent UI elements getting hidden behind.
-The texture d3_bar4.tga is used instead of the original one for easier placement of action bars.
-Widened the space between the orbs.
-Optional angel/demon frame, widened the bottom bar.
-The power orb will now change color according to druid forms, or the player being a warrior/rogue. No more blue energy orbs for rogues (and warriors and stuff)!

You will need an action bar addon like bartender/bongos/dominos to actually place action buttons on top of the bar frame.

Contents:
-Diablo3dynOrbs

Configuration:
-Type "/dynorbs" to access the options
-Right now, you can toggle both the additional art on the sides and the main bar.

Support:
-Leave me a comment. I will try to help when I can.

Brightness

IS there anyway to change the brightness of the orbs as they seems to be really dark on me instead bright like on the screenshots?!

3.2 breaks it.. sort of

Art work and text are there, but the dynamic coloring is gone. No errors are given, just 2 black orbs.

Great addon!

But I've encountered some problems with the life orb texture so far:

Texture weirds out occasionally.

Also, life / power refreshes slower than the default blizzard UI.. I know it's been pointed out already (need to use onUpdate etc.) but meh.

Will be using this for a while.

Edit: imageshack is being weird. When I meant "texture weirds out", sometimes the orbs will become really dark, almost black. Also, when you hide the angel and demon art, the red in the health orb leaks out in the bottom left. When the bar art is hidden, the health texture leaks out to the right. Also, when entering some instances, the texture will become a square instead of a circle (hard to describe...)

Resize?

I love what you've done with the dynamic fog within the orbs. Thank you for a great addon.

My only wish is for a scaling option.

First off would like to say I love the addon and appreciate all the work you've put into it.

But as someone else mentioned previously I have a problem in that my orbs seem to have a much darker coloring than what I see in other peoples' photos. My health orb is so dark it is almost black, you can hardly tell it's red at all. Is there any way that I can brighten the colors and fix this?

Also would love to see a resizing/repositioning option in future installments.

Work around for non-clickable orbs:

Install another unit frame mod (i.e. pitbull, stuff, etc that you're probably using for party/raid anyway)

Edit the player frame:
-- Resize close to the same as the health orb
-- Drag over the health orb. Ideally the player frame will hide the orb.
-- Make the player frame transparent.

This should give everyone the right-click menu and allow click-casting, mouseover, etc.

If you don't want to see other party members, most UF addons allow you to disable (or at least hide) those bars.

So I installed this addon and now I can't seem to do anything to get the artwork around the bars to go away. I've tried completely disabling and removing the addon from my Interface folder altogether. This is incredibly frustrating. When I uninstalled it, the configuration panel is inaccessible and the orbs go away, but the demons stay behind and won't go away no matter what I try.

I am trying to get this working with Clique. Is there anyway to make the health orb clickable as a unit frame? Someone told me it needs to be registered as a unit frame, and I don't really know lua.

I can click on the health orb, and it targets me, and I can right click the orb and set the player options ( raid difficulty, etc ), but I can't shift-click or ctrl-click or any of the stuff Clique defines as an action.

I'd be happy to provide whatever relevant info I can to get this workin.

Thanks

EDIT : Awesome addon btw!

Hi, I am realy impressed about that great addon, but I have to say, that I have a problem with it, and I don't know how to fix it.

Today I went to Archavon the Stonewatcher and when I entered the instance, the fog in my orbs changed. Outside and in most other instances i never saw that, but in the Vault of Archavon my fog was upside down. I mean the uper half of the orb was filled with the fog.

I tested it several times and i saw, that in Azjol-Nerub it's the same thing. But for example in Naxx there is nothing like that.

Can anybody tell me why this is as it is, and how I can fix it?

I love this addon , just installed it...

For some reason the only thing I've noticed in alot of the screenshots the colors are very bright...with mine the colors are very very dark. Is there anyway to turn up the brightness/gamma of the orbs?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
