OpenRDX: Brethren RaidFrames
Brethren RaidFrames is a Raid Frame OOBE package for OpenRDX. It provides a complete raiding interface that combines popular styles with simple customizability that other OOBE packages do not provide. A great deal of work has been put into this package to help show that RDX, while powerful, can be easy to use as well. The documentation is somewhat in depth. If you have any questions please check the documentation first, It contains answers to most questions.

This ZIP includes RDX, there is no need to have RDX already installed. If you wish to download BrRaidFrames without RDX, you may do so here: http://www.brethren-guild.org/files/...Frames-r32.zip

Range Check Fix
If you downloaded release 32 and your range check is not working, you will need to replace settings.lua in the BrRaidFrames addons folder with: http://www.brethren-guild.org/files/RDX/settings.lua

Then once in game, type
Code:
/script fixRangeCheck();
Your range check will now work once you switch desktops.

Addition Installation Instructions
Make sure you delete the old RDX folders as the folder structure has changed. Here is a list of folders you must delete before moving the new files over.

Name text color

I'm enjoying this addon a great deal, thank you very much for all the work.

I'm using the GridWide raid frame setup. Health bars are colored according to class, and I'm trying to identify how to change the color of the font of the player's name. Right now, it's using the same color as the class which for some classes is a little more difficult to read for me.

I think this is related to a Custom Text that is associated with raidframes:script_gridwidetext, but I'm not having any luck with changing that or perhaps I'm barking up the wrong tree there.

Any assistance would be appreciated, thank you.

Ill try and take a look at some point, playing very infrequent due to work / social stuff. I should of made the four corners easily editable sets but i never did, and now i am too lazy to change it up.

Have an interesting problem and I'm not sure how to address it.

Since you don't support Earth Shield natively and I don't care personally about POM I edit the POM set to add earth shield to it, this will show up fine out of combat and I can keep track of who has my earth shield and if it needs recharged. But when combat starts it disappears... I can recast and sometimes ti comes back, but almost always disappears right away...

Any chance you can fix this *OR* add native support for both Riptide as a HOT and Earth Shield as a buff like POM that people care about?

Thanks for having a look at it. I will see if I can figure out how to fix it and don't sweat it, take it when time is given. Now I know that it's supposed to be possible and that goes a long way in searching for a solution.

Sorry, i have not been logging in too often. I took a look and it looks like you just need to fix RaidFrames:feature_priesthot and feature_druidhot. You will need to check the box so that it only shows your buffs (cant remember what it is exactly called, i am at work right now). It will obviously be in the next update whenever i can spare some time, things are busy at the moment.

Are you referring to the buff icons, or the bar that represents renew/grace/druid hots?

Thank you.

Thanks for the update really appreciated.

I have one question though, is there anyway to get it to only show my hots? At the moment it seems to show any hots on the player in the layout and it gets a bit confusing. I have looked through the settings but couldn't find any option for it.

This would make me a very happy camper as I've been unable to harness the powers of RDX and make them do what you had done previously... my attempt is a shoddy grid that barely does what I want!

None, the changes are all cosmetic (texture / font changes) with the exception of Quantities.lua. It contains a bugfix that was later fixed in one of the updates.

I already have RDK installed so picked the smaller download option. I noticed even that is wanting to overwrite some of the RDX files that come with the regular RDX distribution. What impact will there be by not allowing those files to be over-written? What impact will there be on other desktops if I do let the files be over-written? Thanks!

I see it as a serious problem, as in, either whole guild switches to RDX or not.

Since RDX is an API (of sorts) yes it is possible to create a compatibility package for ora2. Though it would be a decent amount of work. You might want to post this suggestion on the RDX forums. When you think about it, if a whole guild switched to RDX why would you need ora2? It would only come in handy if half of the guild used RDX and the other used ora2.
