any plans on trying to fix this?
love the mod but it doesn't work properly anymore for me at all, not even with AmiYuy's "fixes". Funny thing is, it worked flawlessly until I redid my UI last night and now it doesn't even work if I set my UI back to my old one either... Edit: any way to just disable the edit box from appearing below the cellular window at all? like so it NEVER comes no matter what? through the lua code obviously Edit2: removed Code:
AttachEditBox(id) It works for me and so far I haven't been able to produce an error tho. Clicking the frame doesn't work still tho. also suspended this line at 810 by using a double -- but you can also remove it, did this to prevent accidently clicking the frame while writing a message and loose what you've written. Code:
ToggleEditBox(this.tab)

Question:
There used to be an option in Cellular to not remove whispers from the chat window. So basically if you chose that option, you'd see the whispers in Cellular and the chat window. Is there any way to still enable this? |

Re: Re: editbox errors
There is a workaround, but you lose part of Prat's functionality to make it work and if you've moved your editbox, it'll be going back to the default location. Even if you're not using Prat you still can't use the "Disable Editbox Move" checkbox as once it's checked the trouble variable is created. If you go to the next page of comments and find the one made by me on 01-05-2011, 05:45 AM there's a full explanation, but here's the summary: - "Disable EditBox Move" module of Cellular is breaking responding to tells. - If the "noattach" variable is deleted from the Cellular.lua Saved Variables, it will work fine. - Unless you have the "Editbox" module of Prat enabled as well, however the error seems to lie in Cellular. To make it work without Prat: 1) Don't ever touch the "Disable EditBox Move" option 2) Delete the "noattach" variable from the Cellular.lua So to make it work with Prat: 1) Disable "Disable EditBox Move" if it is enabled 2) Delete the "noattach" variable from the Cellular.lua 3) Disable the "Editbox" module from Prat.

Re: editbox errors
It's really getting on my nerves and I'm tempted for the first time in almost 3 years to say goodbye to Cellular and start trying alternatives.
So what's the deal, is this dead? ![]()

editbox errors
I also use Prat 3.0 and Cellular and get reply errors.
Can't click on names to reply, R keybind seems to fail. Any fix or workaround yet? Thanks! ![]() Bugsack output after clicking on name (no editbox appears): Code:
Interface\FrameXML\ChatFrame.lua:3281: attempt to index local 'editBox' (a nil value): Interface\FrameXML\ItemRef.lua:68: in function <Interface\FrameXML\ItemRef.lua:2>: (tail call): ?: Blizzard_CombatLog\Blizzard_CombatLog.lua:3657: in function `orgfunc' Prat-3.0-3.4.24 \services\links.lua:98: in function <Prat-3.0\services\links.lua:88> (tail call): ?: (tail call): ?: Interface\FrameXML\ChatFrame.lua:3192: in function <Interface\FrameXML\ChatFrame.lua:3191>: <in C code>: ?

That's the way it is. If you want overlapping windows, enable tabs. Just drag them into position (make sure to hold shift while dragging).

Works like a charm after 4.1, but I always have to press R twice for the editbox to open. No errors though. I suspect it has some thing to do with me using TukUI.
I'm completely lua illiterate, so I can't offer any real insights, but if you have any ideas for a fix or a solution, please give me a poke ![]() Thanks for making the one and only useful whisper addon out there! |

So how exactly does WIM do it? I don't even mind if it's grouped under the actual realID name, I'm just looking for a way to make sure it keeps recording the conversations. Any way that can be done? |
