Stuf is a replacement to StellarUF. Stuf has the same initial layout and feel of StellarUF, but Stuf is highly customizable.
Do not expect much since this mod's purpose is to replace the Blizzard's main unit frames, not other unit frame mods. I'll most likely deny requests to copy random features.
Noteworthy Recent Additions:
New for 3.3: LFG icons and Boss frames (only for certain encounters)
Option to only show custom text on mouse-over
Latency indicator for player casting bar
Stuf_VisualHeal (you need to delete old Stuf_IncomingHeals)
Arena Frames
ButtonFacade support for aura icons
Option to use Lua instead of text patterns for advanced users
Option to save per character
Supported Units:
Player, pet, and pet target
Target, target of target, and target of target of target
Focus and target of focus
Party with their pets and targets
Arena with their pets and targets (new in v3.1.005)
StufRaid - main raid, raid pets, and raid roles (tanks/assist) and their target and target of target (does not and will not support oRA2/CTRA MT/PT)
Notable Features:
Easy transition from Blizzard default frames
Cast bars for the main units
Dispellable debuff visual
Target and focus timer bars for your buffs/debuffs
Threat bars on target and focus
Shaman totem timers, Death Knight rune bars, and Druid mana bar
Low memory and CPU usage compared to popular unit frame mods
ButtonFacade support for aura icon skins (may be buggy)
How to Use:
Basic - make sure Stuf_Options is enabled; it's required for initializing defaults and changing settings
Options menu - "/stuf" or check the Addons tab in Interface Options
Hide party in raid - Stuf obeys Blizzard's option to "Hide Party Interface in Raid"
Show/Hide elements - many are hidden/shown by setting the alpha or color alpha to zero
Slider nudging - (bug Ace3 people for a better way), I do the following:
Move your cursor over the text above the slider, a tooltip should be showing.
Move your cursor up until the tooltip disappears.
Left-click.
Move your cursor back over the slider until the tooltip reappears.
Now you can nudge using mouse wheel.
For sliders, you can also manually input values and press enter.
Many options, so I suggest checking each option one-by-one
StufRaid:
Options menu - "/stufraid" or check the Addons tab in Interface Options
Basic - StufRaid does not require Stuf, and Stuf does not require StufRaid
Special text - install UTF8 to support special characters for the name text sub-string feature
Features Lacking (forever):
No profiles, but you can save per character. Profiles would at least double the memory usage (plus more for each profile you create) of Stuf due to its massive saved variables. Check out Reflux to add profiles options to Stuf and other mods.
Showing raid instead of party frames when in a party.
Advanced buff/debuff filtering for main units.
Switching frames when in vehicle
Full-featured casting bar (no GCD, breathe, cooldowns, etc)
Anything that would really kill performance and lack usefulness
Anything for which already has a great standalone mod
Known Issues:
You cannot right-click Stuf's player buff icon to cancel shape-shift forms (ie. druid forms and shadow form) since they're protected now.
You cannot select "Set Focus" from the right-click menu. Make a "/focus" macro instead.

Optional Files - Stuf Unit Frames
Sorry, there are currently no optional files available.
Thanks you very much for the previous help. I still have one more question. I'm having difficulty finding the option to turn off the shadows on the Buff and Debuff frames. Thanks again for the help and amazing addon. Great job.
I am now labeling Stuf as incompatible with BF and will no longer addressing any issues between them.

You can use Lua code or enable those units' target frames and just show the name text.

I just wanted to thank you for your time and effort, totalpackage.
These UF are the most flexible and stable ones I have ever tried.
There is only one thing I would like to know:
How can I apply the simple squared border to the buff icons of the RaidFrames of StUF? It would look more consistent than the coloured corner of an icon on the RaidFrames at the moment. If it is not possible or there are reasons for the buff "theme" not to apply to StUF -AND- StUF RaidFrames then no problem, it would be more cosmetic than anything else.
As said: keep it up, one happy user here with respect for the time put into such an addon.

Hi, Im new to this Addon scince i've been usin Pitbull for a long time but it kept me throwin things throug my Livingroom so I tryed this.
First of all I#d like to thank you für developing this, i relly like it.
So here my problem:
I use the "Caith"-Design für all my Buttons and Icons via ButtonFacade.
Everytime I Relog the Buffframes Stuf provides are in the chosen Caithdesign but much darker then I had set them.
Dominos, SBF, Bartender ... it all workes fine. I only see this Problem whith Stuf.
Has anyone an oppinion?

If the setting is in BF, then BF should force it no matter what Stuf does.

Seems like it'll be more painful than BF, and supporting both will triple the workload. No thanks. I'm content with Stuf's default skins.
Found an interesting aura behavior when using BF, though I didn't see anyone else post about this exact issue, but it seems to be related to the BF support problems.
I've switched my aura to BF_caith and changed the colors of the border to match the rest of my UI. However, these colors reset to equipped after every UI reload, which you've already addressed. Not a big deal, buff updates force a refresh on it anyway.

Any idea if the color is linked to a behavior in Stuf?
Originally posted by mindaika I couldn't find any option for it, or a comment about it, but:
Is there a way to show combat status (in combat/out of combat), either via a frame color or icon or what have you?
You can use the "Satus" icon. The status icon is basically the resting icon and in-combat icon merged into one. When you're resting it will display the resting icon, when in combat the combat one.
Originally posted by totalpackage I looked into it, and it seems like BF is forcing the border color to initially change to "Equipped" color. If the buffs in Stuf refresh, the colors should update properly afterward. Man, BF support is such a pain.
Add support for rActionButtonStyler then?
I've been thinking of switching over anyhow. BF uses too many resources for my liking to do such a simple task.

Quite possibly the best mod I've ever used! I've replaced Satrina Buff Frames, Pitbull and Quartz with just one addon! Absolutely amazing work.
I only have one problem though. My custom colors for buff borders aren't being displayed after I log in. I have both the "Buff" and "My Buff" color options set to black in Stuf's global options, as well as the ButtonFacade skin I use for them (PixelSkin). However after I log in they appear gray. When I open the config on both Stuf and ButtonFacade the color option is set to black but the actual border is gray. Only way to fix them is by opening the color picker on either of those two and nudging the slider a bit to force it to update to black. This happens on both of my toons, every time I log in. I get no Lua error. Happens with both player and target buffs. My debuffs and temporary enchants are fine.
Originally posted by nunchuks Is there a way to abbreviate the targets name or if there a tag for the name text to shorten. The Npc's name are to long and i was wondering if theirs a text tag for it. Thanks in advance
Only way I have found is to make the text frame a certain size to only include the number of characters you want. Enable the background color and alpha to see it.
