Welcome to MetzRemix 1680x1050! (This compilation is going to get a new name soon, feel free to make suggestions).
This is a little remix of MetzUI that I found at www.omgphatloots.org. Compilation is updated for Wotlk, and includes many customized blp files for many aspects of the interface, more to be added very soon.
Now also includes Ishtara's shared media folder. This eventually will be turned into a mymedia of my own when time permits.
Addons included:
_Cursor - custom cursor trails
Align
Azcastbar
Baudbag(yay fan update!)
Blipstick - custom minimap blips
Buffalo - buff display
Button Facade and many skins (I removed a few that aren't being used)
Classtimer - dotimer, not set up but included
Cooldownbuttons - some how I forgot a cooldown, buff, and dot display last time
DetachedMiniButtons - put those stinky buttons wherever you want!

Neonchat - changes editbox border to color of channel you are typing in

Directions for install:
1) Backup your interface,fonts, and wtf folders.
2)Unzip MetzRemix into your world of warcraft folder
3)Navigate into the WTF folder and change your acc, realm, and char names to your information.

You should honestly do an update for this. It is the only UI I can bear to use, but for some reason it isn't working for me. At all.

Great UI, but there is one thing that is wring with mine. There are two panels on the left and right sides that By default encases 2 of my chat tabs. But these panels restrict my chat windows from being moved or customized. So I cant really make any more chat tabs or change any current chat tabs. Is there any solution to this?
-Fixed, it was a setting that got changed in the Interface settings.

You need to copy the folders in the wtf folder. Make a copy of your server folder and name it to the new server. Then go inside it and name your character that it works on to the name of your character on the new server. You might have to load profiles, then it should be fine.

The addon used for the chat is called nChat. The only way to edit it is by lua. I recommend replacing it with a mod like Chatter or Prat for easier editing. Good luck.

Hey there,
I had used this compilation for some time in the past and I really loved the overall look and feel of it. Unfortunately, the resolution of my laptop's screen is pretty tiny by today's standards, and since lately that has been my main way of playing the game, I decided to try my hand at putting together my own little mix of things so that I could make sure everything would fit and be properly readable for me. I wanted to incorporate a few aspects that I really enjoyed from your design, however, and I was hoping you could help me since I am running into a few issues and am still new to the whole process. I tried integrating the custom textures and cursor from this compilation by copying the folders within your Interface folder, with the exception of the AddOns folder of course, to mine, and everything seemed to function in a similar manner as the overrides in the Fonts folder, but now many of my textures are flashing to black when my cursor is on screen in certain instances, and the transparency on the replacement minimap blips doesn't seem to be functioning. Have you run into this problem before, or do you have any idea what could be causing it or could potentially fix the problem? As per the crashing, it's a possibility that some of the mods could use an update. Try updating a few of them and see if that fixes your issues. OH! Delete Lynsettings also, it's not updated.
