Boda UI   Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Supported Resolution: 1920x1080
Information on this page was updated on 1/28/2010

Announcements
• This UI will only be released for the supported resolution. Additionally you are required to read the information on this page before you contact me with questions.
• All Changes for 3.3 and future versions will now be located in the Change Log tab above. There are some important tips located there. Please read them.
• Version 3.2.2 (1280x1024) will remain archived. However it is not updated to the current style and I have no plans to do so at this time.
• My intentions were to create a universal UI, unfortunately my needs require it to be designed for a Warrior Tank, therefore it will work best in that class/role out of the box. However many users have reported that with average AddOn configuration skills my UI is easily changed to fit the needs of a different class/role. The main change is how SBF is set up. Follow the link for SBF in the Addons section below to learn how.
• All the AddOns used in my UI are listed below with a link to their download page. There you can find slash commands to open the AddOns and set profiles, plus a whole lot more.
• If you wish to use this UI for a different resolution than the supported one, refer to the Different Resolutions section in my guide which is linked below in the Help and Support section.

Special Thanks Goes Out To:
• Wowinterface.com for hosting my UI.
• Tankspot.com for hosting my discussion thread.
• The AddOn authors that created the mods used in this UI.
• The users who have made this UI popular. I appreciate all the kind words I have received here and in my tankspot.com thread.

Installation
• Backup and then delete your WTF and Interface folders.
• Download the UI and extract it to your desktop.
• Open the UI then drag the WTF and Interface folders into your WoW folder.
• Open the WTF folder and rename the appropriate folders with YOUR information.
• Account Name (All Caps) or Your Battle.net Account Name (as its spelled)
• Server Name (First Letter Cap and any punctuation)
• Character Name (First Letter Cap)

In Game Setup
• First stop at your Character Selection Screen. Click the AddOns button and check “Load out of date AddOns”, then enable all of them.
• Then proceed into the game and set the Bodasafa - Eldre’thalas profile for the following AddOns:
• Bartender
• Button Facade
• Chatter
• Chinchilla
• Icehud
• KG Panels
• Minimap Button Frame
• Omen
• Pitbull
• Recount
• Satrina Buff Frames
• Status Window
• Once all profiles are set reload your UI by typing /rl (some profiles will not appear set until you do).
• Be sure to change the key bindings and macros Via the in game Blizzard Menu and the Bartender key bindings. I have a unique set up that won't make sense.
• Log out to save the changes.
• Login and Enjoy!

Important Notes
• I do not use a player portrait in my UI due to Icehud showing my health and rage. I recommend that you bind a key to target self. This can be done through the blizzard menu in the key bindings tab. Once you press that key you will see you as the target. You then right click the frame to get all the options you would via a normal player portrait.
• In order to get Recount looking clean I had to remove all the icons. I recommend you make a macro /recount reset. This is handy to clear the data so you don’t stack up a bunch of memory. I typically reset after every boss kill or wipe.

Help and Support
• For a more detailed explanation on how to download and install this UI please read my guide: A Guide to Downloading User Interfaces
• For discussion about my UI and to contact me with questions or comments please reply here: Boda's UI Discussion Thread
• If you do not see my profiles you:
A) Do not have the WTF folder in the right place.
B) You have not renamed the appropriate folders with YOUR information.
C) You have a spelling error in the renamed folders. They must be spelled 100% correctly. Which includes proper punctuation.
D) You need to use your old Account Name (All Caps) if you have one.
E) If you do not have an old Account Name, then you need to use your battle.net e-mail name , spelled correctly.

Addons
• !BugGrabber
• Atlas Loot Enhanced
• Bartender 4
• Baudmark
• Bug Sack
• Button Facade
• ceal Name Plates
• Chatter

• Deadly Boss Mods

  Change Log - Boda UI
3.3 Changes

Addon Changes

Pitbull 4:
• Reduced the size of the Focus and Target Frames.
• Adjusted the spacing of the Focus and Target Frames.
• Increased the size of the buff/debuff icons for easier viewing.
• All Bar textures have been changed.
• All Borders have been changed.

Bartender 4:
• Previously Bar 1 was enabled and off the screen unable to be selected. The bar has now been centered on the screen and disabled.
• Previously the bar layout would change when you changed specs. All bars are now positioned in the same place with the same amount of buttons available in either spec.

SBF (Satrina Buff Frames):
• I have renamed each frame for the job it does. For example instead of SBF 1, it reads "Your Buffs" ect.
• The "Debuffs on Target" frame now shows when Demo Shout, Vindication, Curse of Weakness, Thunderclap, and Sunder Armor are applied by anyone. Previously it only showed when you applied them and did not include Vindication/Curse of Weakness. This is to help reduce the chance you are wasting time applying a debuff already present.
• The icon size of your buffs along the top right of the screen has been increased for easier viewing.

Deadly Boss Mods:
• Enabled the 2nd set of bars "big" bar to appear just above the target and target of target frame. This is to have a centered and larger CD bar to inform you of information you need to know during an encounter.
• Turned off the “Play some funny sounds” option for the Onyxia encounter.

Tiptac:
• Moved the tooltips to the bottom left corner above the UI box, so they do not over lap the party frames.
• All Borders and Back Rounds have been changed to match then new KG Panels look.

KG Panels:
• All borders have been changed.
• All back rounds have been changed.
• The individual boxes have been adjusted slightly for equal spacing.

Omen3:
• I now have your name on omen as a bright yellow. That way you can keep a closer eye on where you stand in threat.

Button Facade:
• Added a gloss (black)

Chinchilla:
• Removed the North symbol to provide a cleaner look.

New Addons

pError:
• Removes red error text
• I have many common error text messages added to the ignore list. To remove, add, or see the list of ignored messages visit the addon download page for instructions.

cealNamePlates:
• This addon has no in game configuration, what you see is what you get.
• You can enable/disable this addon through the blizzard menu under “Names” and set what units show nameplates.

Removed Addons

oRA2:
• Found this addon was not needed. If you’re a raid leader check out the new version oRA3

Other Changes

Objectives:
• The Objectives frame is now located just under "Your Buffs" in the top right corner. You must open your quest log and track a quest for it to show up. If no quests are tracked then it will become invisible.

I had considered that. Really the big problem is people not moving the folders in the right spot and renaming them properly. There's no addon to make that any simpler than it already is.

There are 12 slash commands to type and load profiles. Really I want to force people to look at the download page of these addons to find that command and then set it them selves. It helps them trouble shoot any issues they have or any changes they want to make.

Really Ive done a ton of work creating and maintaining this UI for public download, asking people who want to use it to do a little work hardly seems outta line.

Thats not coming from Chatter, unless you messed with the options beyond setting my profile from it. It has a different font which clued me into it not being part of Chatter.

I can only conclude you have an option turned on somewhere from a different addon putting that "creates a majestic" in the box.

You have to set the profile for pitbull and then join a raid for it to show up. You can also type /pitbull to pull up the config window and in the top left corner under "config mode" you can select 25 man raid from the drop down menu and it will show up so you can move it if needed.
Ah okay, I hadn't been in a raid yet with the add-on, well thanks, I will play around with this add-on a bit more now.

Re: Re: Cast bars/cooldown timer

Sweet thanks, definitely gonna try this add-on out then, I could probably get omni cc and something like doom pulse as well to make the cooldown more obvious. Looks like a great setup can't wait to try it.

There are.

Just left of the main action bar box are My personal Debuffs I apply to the target. I have them set up to show Rend, TC, Sunder, ect.

Read the SBF link to lean how to set it up for your class/role. If you take the time to read the information it will show you. I'm not going to give step by step instructions on how to do when there is already information available showing people how to.

No its not going to say for a "Hunter" do this. But it will tell you how to white list spells so they show up in that frame. Spells that only your class cares about.

Same goes for the Proc's and CD's frame.

I believe you should be fine per account. However I am not 100% on that so you may need to repeat the process 4 times.

Re: re: where are your profiles

Ill address all these comments in one reply.

It's not "apparently". These steps are laid out in my install instructions pretty clearly and I have a break down of how to do them in the guide I wrote, which is linked in the "Help and Support" section on my download page.

However I will go over them again.

If you do not see my profiles you:

A) Do not have the WTF folder in the right place.
B) You have not renamed the appropriate folders with YOUR information.
C) You have a spelling error in the renamed folders. They must be spelled 100% correctly.
D) You need to use your old Account Name (All Caps) if you have one.
E) If you do not have an old Account Name, then you need to use your battle.net e-mail name , spelled correctly.
