SFSkins 1.03
SFSkins v1.03

Changes in v1.03 to previous version:

8/13/09 - Updated TOC file for 3.2

Changes in 1.02 to previous version:

1. Code cleaned up.
2. Nudger added to move art in small increments to make set up easier. Just drag Art close to where you want it and use nudger to bring it in to the location you want.
3. Some variable names changed to make them unique.
4. Some text alignment issues in config screen resolved with different resolution.

For those of you who enjoy modifying your interface but would like to keep the "WOW" look I decided to attempt to bring this mod back. SFSkins is a almost complete rewrite of a mod that was out a few years ago and seemed to disappear called Diivskins. I have held onto and used Diivskins since I began playing a few years ago and hated to see it go as it seems the original author has dropped it.

The original Diivskins put up the artwork but relied on another mod to move and size the art. I have added these features directly in SFSkins.

I would like to thank the original author for making Diivskins and I have kept some of the code and graphics in his honor. SFSkins is stand alone, needs no other mods to function.

Remember this is just artwork. You will need to use your favorite action button mod in conjunction with SFSkins.

You can use the game menu to activate SFskins of type "/sfs toggle" to toggle the configuration screen off and on.

Features:

* Game Menu Button to show SFSkins
* 10 configuable horizontal bars with 12 button slots
* 10 configurable vertical bars with 12 button slots
* 10 configurable end caps with 32 styles
* 10 configurable miscellaneous bits with 30 styles
* Layouts are saved per character
* All Movable and sizable
* Nudger to move your art in small increments to help make layout easier.

This is my first mod I have posted for the community so go easy on me.

Very nice!

Just wanted to say " Thank You! " for this little gem. This adds just enough eye candy to liven up that same old UI that I've been looking at for the last 3 years. So easy to use , and so cool looking, even if it was a little time consuming but that's only because I was having a blast playing with it. Only complaint, wish there were more choices, again only because I love to tinker with my layout. Have been looking and thinking about kgpanels but honestly it seems to involved. I only hope you continue to maintain this little beauty.

This is an amazing addon, at allows me to keep the style I love while still keeping the functionality of other bar mods.

My bars for when I take control of something like a Drake in Oculus are not working. Only shows the exit button. Anyone got a clue?

Keep it as it. There is no reason to get away from the core concept. We have plenty of bar mods already. Keep to the UNIX philosophy of doing one thing and doing it well.

@ Pyremo

The art on the button bars is from the Mod he is developing, SFSkins. If you are interested you should download it and give it a try, it's easier to use than Kleenex.

I like this as a graphics mod but I wonder, not being a coder/mod maker, if it could be adjusted so it could be linked to button bars(?). For instance, using Domino I have some bars set to show on mouse over and others to show in combat. Ideally your mod would react in the same fashion so the graphics aren't showing when out of combat or not moused over.

However, if you did go the step further and make it a fully functional bar mod it would be unique from the others simply because of the graphic aspect you offer. The question at that point would be whether you could include options to make it appealing to those who like to build their own graphics and minimalists as well.

All that being said, another good bar mod would never be a bad thing especially one that adds more options for creativity and diversity.

I like what you've done so far and am interested in seeing how it shakes out ;^ )

Yes you will need your favorite bar mod. And hopefully it lets you resize and adjust spacing of the buttons. Given that your set to go. Bartender4 works nicely for me although I'm sure others out there allow configuration.Im struggling with actually changing this mod to its own bar mod. With all the action bar mods out there, and some nice ones, I really didnt think there was a need for another. Just thought we were missing a little graphics. If I do make this into a bar mod and keep on the caps and bits for a little graphic enhancement, It will not be usable with Bartender or even Macaroon. Some of the good mods out there. For instance, if you look at my images I am using Bartender4 for spells, Yata for my Shammies totems, and Auto bar as my vertical bar. We lose using a variety of tools if I turn this int a bar mod.

What do you folks think about this? Would like your input.

Well that will be a goal. Sounds like a lot of work but could be fun.
