MillHelp

MillHelp is a simple addon that displays which pigments will be produced when the herb is milled on the herb's tooltip and the herbs needed on the ink tooltips.

Show common and uncommon results for pigments (common in white, uncommon in green)
If an ink uses common pigments the herbs are shown in white
If an ink uses uncommon pigments the herbs are shown in green

If you want to display the "Milling:" and "From:" headings, type /script MILLHELP_HEADER = true, if later you wish to remove the header type /script MILLHELP_HEADER = nil

These commands change the saved variable for the addon, so the command will set the option until you change it back.

Version 1.2.0
This version adds the ability to query the server for the inks and pigments, which will allow you to have tooltip information right after a patch. And without having to find an inscriptionist. Simply use the new slash command /millhelp and a window will popup. Unsafe links are in teal, right clicking will query the server for the item, adding it to your cache. You might be disconnected if the item hasn't been seen by somebody on the server yet. (Rare chance, but it might happen)

Comments, tickets or the forum thread are all great places to suggest features or report bugs. Of the three, replies to comments will be the slowest but I will read them eventually.

Localization
If anyone could assist in finishing support for the other WoW languages I would greatly appreciate it. To get full support for all locales, I just need Simplified Chinese (zhCN). Submit the localized strings as a ticket or send me an email or post on a comment with a link. Thanks!

Note: I took the screen shots with my full UI, so the tooltip has lines from Bagnon and MobileVault. Only the lines "Milling" and after are from MillHelp.

Starinnia A Deviate Faerie Dragon Forum posts: 13 File comments: 13 Uploads: 4	Wanted to let everyone know that the newest version will not error when your item cache is missing information. You'll get an alert in your chat frame telling you to type /millhelp. That will open a window that will show you what items are missing from your cache. Right clicking will query the server, and the items will update when you mouse back over the text. (I'll prolly add mousing in or out to update at some later date, but I wanted to do something to fix it up quickly.)

That is caused because the patch removed your local item cache. As soon as you have seen all the inks and pigments that error will stop. I'm trying to find a good way to automatically query the server so that error won't happen, but I have finals soon, so my priorities are towards school at the moment.

Only herbs in your bags/bank/chat links. I only hook the tooltips that are generated by actual items, not objects in the 3D world.

Seperate, I took the screen shot with Bagnon and MobileVault enabled too. Only the part with and after "Milling:" is from MillHelp.
