PartyQuests light. I wrote this when I realized that Cosmos PartyQuests was not reliable and very heavy. People liked it so now it's here!

*** VIEWING PARTY MEMBERS QUESTS AND SPLIT PANE QUEST LOG ARE NOW WORKING. THIS IS A BETA VERSION TO BE SET FOR RELEASE IF NO MAJOR BUGS FOUND BY USERS. ***

- Allows the player to view party members' quests. Other players must also have QuestMods loaded for quests to be viewed. View a party member's quests by selecting their name from the dropdown at the top of the quest log window.

- Splits the quest log into separate log and details frames. Player can opt to use the standard Blizzard quest log frame through add-on options.

- Reports quest objective completion to the quest reporting frame.

- Reports quest progress and quest objective completion to players in your group.

- New option allows user to always display quest map button in the quest log, even if quest objectives are shut off in the world map. Clicking the button will open the world map and automatically turn world map quest objectives back on.

- New option allows user to display all quest information in the bottom left corner of the world map. By default, only the quest description is shown.

- New option allows user to keep the quest details window open when the quest log window is closed. This only works when using split panes.

- Configurable through Interface Options.

Handy little addon that which no longer seems to work (no surprise )

As far as I know, there wasn't, but I will add it as a possible future update.

Seeing QuestMods getting an update made me a very happy panda! Although if memory serves me well there was a feature to display quest levels in the quest tracker frame besides the quest log, unless I'm horribly wrong...

If this feature was a part of the pre-3.3 QuestMods I'd like it back pretty please with much sugar on top. If it wasn't, I'd like to see it added (again with much sugar on top)

Version 4.0 beta uploaded.

- Fixed split panes
- Fixed party quest viewing

I do plan on updating. I have taken a hiatus from WoW, but I am back and have spent enough time with the new quest stuff to figure out what I want to do with the addon.

Good to see you here Xerty (chibidelenn here from the Cosmos forums)

You'll also notice that if you have this addon enabled and use the TooltipsComplete from the Cosmos addons that were actually updated earlier this year that all tooltips appear behind their parent frame (bags, AH window, etc.). The only way to alleviate that at the moment is to disable this particular addon. Well, that and this addon isn't even functioning at all right now - you get blank quest description windows.

It must have been a glitch in my wow program, as I have been unable to reproduce the issue since I last posted. So my apologies for jumping the gun!

I'm not sure what you mean by "click into the chat window", but with the quest log open, I am able to press Enter to open the chat line. I can type in it just fine, and I can link quest entries without problem. I don't know why you are having problems.

Possible bug
I'm noticing when using this addon now that if I have the questlog open, I am unable to click into the chat window and type, such as to link a quest I am working on. The only way I can do it is if I have the chat window already enabled for typing, and then open the questlog. If the questlog is open first, it will not let me click into any channel to allow typing. I don't recall every previously having that problem, and am wondering if this is an issue with this addon, or something else.

I'm really sorry. I have just been really busy. A lot of the work is done. Just got to set aside time to finish up. Hopefully very soon.

At the risk of sounding a nag...any update on an eta? I miss this addon a great deal on my alts.

I am currently in the middle of updating this add-on. I will have an option for users to select to use the new blizz frame or the separate windows. All the other functionality will be there as well, if blizzard lets me.
