Mage Icon Set
For those Mages who think their spell icons could look just a little bit more fitting, I've modified some icons to fit our spells. To use these icons, you need to put them in your custom icon folder (world of warcraft/interface/icons/) or create it if it doesn’t exist.

Update: You can now find a guide on how to create your own icons here!

You can also find separate new icons here!
  Change Log - Mage Icon Set
17/6/2009: Added new icons for Scorch, Fireball, Pyroblast, Arcane Missiles, Dalaran Intellect and Dalaran Brilliance.

21/4/2009: Added a new icon for Frostbolt.

Rename the arcane missiles icon from spell_arcane_arcane_missiles.blp to spell_nature_starfall.blp and it works like a charm.

Gorgeous artwork (I especially dig the Ice Barrier)! Got Missiles working too with a macro, just gotta figure out the Tomes now...

You planning on making more and/or for more classes?

They are in the list of icons when you choose one for your macro - you just have to find them. The tomes are usually in the bottom of the list.

Just thought I would share a picture. I have a ton of custom icons including yours and I love them on all my characters.

If you could add some additional icons that would be awesome, the Mage Armor one overwrote my icon on my buff bar as well it looks great, just need one for Molten Armor now.

Mana Shield, Spellsteal, Ice Lance, Blast Wave and Ice Barrier are imported from Warcraft 3. The tomes, Frostfire Bolt and Mage Armor are modified Warcraft 3 icons to fit the class. The rest are my own personal artwork.
